Yeah its well stylized and the character models look good. Sure next gen fidelity would be great but I much prefer that they focused on 60 FPS smooth combat rather than nice graphics.
Hey, I just buy it Rise Of The Ronin & I run it on graphic mode.... I'm happy with results. 4K, beautiful & many different sceneries make this game unbelievable. So much colors there, I love it!
The main problem with this game is not the graphics but the Ubisoft checklist type of gameplay (find cat in region XY of the map and such). It is a complete degradation in comparison to the previous Team Ninja games Nioh 1+2 and Wo Long Fallen Order and I hope that they will return to the mission/map segmented structure in their next game again.
I think the issue with the graphics is that it’s trying to use a realistic art style when the actual graphics make it look like shit. Better art direction would’ve allowed the graphics to be less of an issue.
im pretty ok with games with an ok graphics thats not par with rdr2 but atleast u need to add a unique art style to make the game stand out even more like borderlands and yakuza
Only thing I wish they could've improved on in rise of the ronin is having multiple enemies attacking you at once, how am I supposed to pull off a counterspark on an enemy that's behind me, while I'm fighting someone in front of me
@@nspades Yes really, would you believe me if I told you I almost NEVER use counterspark cuz of how hard it is to pull off and mainly dodge or block attacks. IMO it's much more effective especially against multiple opponents.
I feel bad that this game got completely overshadowed for myself by DD2, I gave the demo a try just out of boredom, I beat Wo Long but wasn't into it, I was thinking "I already heard I won't like it" I am glad a tried it, I like it more than Wo Long, a lil less than Nioh 2, but it's cool
sorry, i get what you are saying but im a graphic wore.. ya it needs to look good or else i lose interest fast. i mean for the cost of consoles, pcs, and not to mention games.. i expect to look to date .. not exact ps 4 looks.. so only play these dated games at discount.
It's a great game for those who like assassin's Creed games. Tries to pull from ghosts of tsushima in other aspects. Great game. Got delt a bad hand with reviews even beyond the graphics.
It wasn't unfair, if you consider its a downgrade from what they shown us in the trailers, whatever ghost of tsushima showed us in the trailers is what we got...this like like ubisoft levels of downgrade and if ubisoft can be clowned upon for downgrading graphics from trailer, why shouldn't this game be criticized for the downgrade?
Sorry mate but if a game that came out in 2024 looks like a switch game that came out in 2022 at best ( PLA which is fine cus it's a switch game not a ps5 game) and worse than games from 2011 like GOW3 and RDR than TBH i just can't understand what I'm looking at Plus in my country it costs 320 which is like 85$ soooooo If the game is like half maybe but full price for that? Nah
But even the open world not that good maybe the gameplay it good but not that good . The problem of this game it is because it’s come after Elden ring and ghost of Tsushima
true, but also people shouldnt expect or demand every game to be on par with ghost of tsushima and elden ring, thats basically why i talked about ROTR lol
@@pellowfrfor Elden ring i agree with u but for ghosts of Tsushima I think it a Sony standard I think that normally we can expect less for a PlayStation exclusive, I mean it not a masterpiece . It’s a game with good graphic wonderful direction and a good gameplay ,and some good idea for exploration. For some people it assassin creed in Japan,Why would we want to expect less lol
Ghost of Tsushima's open world was mediocre at best. Amazing graphics and looks, but the activities were boring and very repetitive, not to mention that the reason to discover things was very uninteresting. New katana skins, some charms, very basic fashion etc. The good thing were the mythical quests. Now compared to Ronin, aside from the fact that its combat is miles better the deeper, there is A TON of stuff to chase. Bond quests that unlock hidden stuff, secret bosses with, again, hidden stuff, tons of small to-do stuff that level up vendors and characters, tons of challenges etc etc.
@@pellowfr I understand you.. And you are correct that 15mins is not enough to rate a game thoroughly, but with my gaming history, it's enough to let me know if I'll like the game or not. I bought God of war ragnarok again to play the DLC - valhala. 15mins I knew it's not what I wanted. The rogue like mode did not work for me. For rise of the ronin: the graphics and the fact that my character was mute was annoying hahah. I managed that for elden ring but not for rise of the ronin, especially having played ghost of tsushima. Sorry if I sounded harsh earlier. Do you understand?
I think ROTR actually looks really good.
Yes it does
Yeah its well stylized and the character models look good. Sure next gen fidelity would be great but I much prefer that they focused on 60 FPS smooth combat rather than nice graphics.
I’m a simple guy, I think Rise of the Ronin looks beautiful.
Yes
Game had a few flaws but I enjoyed it and beat it over the course of a few weeks
I just started Rise of the Ronin and i love it , team ninja always comes through for me.
I think the graphics are fine, and I play Team Ninja games for the deep combat system not because of the graphics anyway
If gamers are expected to pay ‘BIG’ then devs must give us ‘BIG’. It’s as simple as that.
tdlr; graphics are fine, gameplay is fine, that's fine
Best game of the year for me so far, nothing comes close, but all i go for is combat generally
if you go for combat that makes sense 😂 mine is ff7 rebirth

wouldve loved a more animated art style, dont know why they didn’t just go for that honestly

This game was over 10 years in development. It did not pull from Ghost.
Elden Ring has an immersive story..

No! it wasn't good! I bought it and sold it immediately after 15 minutes of gameplay. It looks horrible! case closed.
