- Hello everyone! This week I sang Be Prepared from Lion King!
Here’s another Elton John song coming at ya. This was supposed to be up a week ago but sometimes stuff gets all shuffled around, yknow? Either way, here is the final version of Be Prepared which will be on streaming sites so please listen to it and help me grow an empire!
Did you guys see the Lion King movie? Did you like it? I watched a lot of the clips released on RUclips but my thoughts are a little iffy. For the first time, I really don’t have complaints with the vocalists. Most of them sing beautifully which is such a blessing for my lil ears. The animation is what I got caught up on but I’d love to hear your thoughts nonetheless. Should I dish out the cash and see the movie? The choice is yours.

I was so mad about it
While I think that remaking the lion king the way they did was a shameful cash grab and nothing more, that doesn't mean they didn't include this song in a manner that would actually make sense in live action context (rather than having a mountain appear out of the ground for no actual reason, along with an entire army of goose stepping hyenas where before there was only a large pack). I actually enjoyed that part.

@@Fun-K-Board a version of the song is still there, and was my personal highlight of the film (which says more about the poor quality of the film than the quality of the song). The manner in which they implemented the new song is also a pretty decent Nazi reference that's less obvious than goose stepping hyenas.

Still, i'm just a bit mad since Scar was literally my favorite villain for my entire childhood.
Like, I know that no matter what remakes do there will be hate. Change the film too much? Hate. Keep it the exact same? Hate.
It just never ends, but... This film was pretty bad so...

I just didn't like CGI, since it limits their expressions and movements.

Ok, I don’t know why, but this is the one Disney song that I felt is impossible to cover. There’s just something so unique about the original that makes it so hard to come on par with. I can honestly say that this is the first satisfying cover of this song I’ve heard, and by satisfying, I mean it’s absolutely incredible
