Howdy Howdy. This is Clara Lawrence. Mitch from Stone Coat Countertops and me teamed up together to create a huge Dragon made with alcohol dyes, ink and epoxy resin. Yes, this is a 2 part video. The second will be released tomorrow at the same time and that one is super funny!

Thanks Thanks Thanks. I did mention layers. I have an alcohol ink background, then resin, then more and more alcohol ink and pen work, the resin, then resin with flames, then clear coat with fly (don't ask) and probably another resin clear coat to fix the fly and done.

Are resin inks different to alcohol inks I am bit confused. Love your work❤️❤️❤️❤️ you have so much talent
Let me try and clear this up for you. I have been trying to use resin colorants as another way of creating alcohol inks. One product is Resinart and it is a pre-dissolved paste that is similar to a mica powder. I have just added alcohol to this and painted with it as an alcohol ink. Also have used alumilite dyes that are also a resin product. (Super concentrated) a couple of drops into a bottle filled with alcohol. I have been calling them alcohol dyes. All of these behave a little differently than traditional alcohol inks.
@@ClaraLawrence Thank you it’s just I bought here in Greece resin alcohol ink that’s why asked. Thank you I really love your work. Here we can only 99% isopropyl and I think it makes a difference from when using 91% . I find that when I spray it on my resin I don’t get the same effects. ….by the way my name is Anna and I do appreciate your help and your quick response. I love how you all work together that’s what the world needs more off people like you Erica Rhonda Mike and the rest of gang…..❤️❤️❤️
@@bibbibibbi251 91% is common here. Haven’t used 99% myself. I know the fumes are so much stronger, so please take precautions with ventilation. I am curious about trying it on resin.
