What you need to be asking is where the heck are they buying their chicken from? This is most likely the Polish Haraam Mechanically slaughtered chicken by Non Muslims who use a "Blessed blade." This blad says "Bismillah Allah hu Akbar in Arabic with no human intervention hence why it's Haraam to consume. Man's go for bargains not knowing they are consuming Haraam and their prayers not answered. Birmingham is notoriously known for Haraam Polish chicken. I know so because I work within the Halal industry and know about Poland as I spent some significant time in Poland last year overseeing Non stun Halal. Visited plenty of sites who claimed they did Halal but the whole slaughter process was Haraam.
