At one point you asked if Santa's reindeer were all male. I alwlays thought they were mixed. Both male and female reindeer have antlers. However, male reindeer shed their antlers in the fall while females shed theirs in the spring. So Santa's reindeer having antlers at Christmas time would imply that they're female.

I think the attempts to demonstrate that you're gay-adjacent is also a little bit about letting the person know that you're someone who is safe to be gay around... because not everyone is. It's a little more than wanting to be liked - it's about connecting and declaring the envelope, which does, I think, have value.
Russel being a raging homophobe/racist/sexist/etc is positively one of my favorite bits. It always catches me off guard and always makes me laugh lol.

I actually think I understand what Gianmarco meant about trying to seem gay adjacent to gay men.
My partner is a straight man, and he has always had almost exclusively gay friends. It gets lonely being a straight guy that can’t relate to any fellow straight guys, so when you finally encounter a gay person it’s like omg hi!! Let’s be friends!! I can keep up with these conversations, please let’s be friends!
Maybe that’s what he’s feeling.
Cuz as we know, gay culture isn’t just about sex. My partner hates sports, but loves Drag Race. Things like that, and the general experience with the world is relatable since he was always bullied for being gay even though he’s straight because of his friends and femininity

I am laughing so much at the start bc I was like okay wtf is it they are going to drink and they even said the name it didn’t connect with me untill somehow the Gianmarcos bad pronunciation of Koskenkorva brought me back to working in a liquor store and made me contact to what they where talking about.

You don't actually **have** to have a new thing. It's small talk, not show&tell.
Also, I agree about the chocolate. I've never been a big chocolate fan, and it's such a default go-to thing. Almost all the flavored supermarket ice cream in my country has chocolate in it, donuts have chocolate frosting, danish has chocolate drizzle, 90% of the candy aisle is chocolate in various forms. I hate that chocolate is considered the only acceptable candy for adults to enjoy, like actually tasty things are for babies. Adults can only have the bitterest of chocolate, along with other things people pretend taste good, like whiskey and coffee.
Don't give me a box of fancy chocolates - give me a bag of pick&mix or jelly babies or a bouquet of Chupa Chups or a novelty fizzy candy shaped like a poop emoji.
