Aww, I’ve been waiting to see a someone react to Ringo doing the singing. Love Ringo and love your excitement over him. He sings a song or two on almost every Beatles album, and I enjoy every one of those songs. And he’s my favorite drummer, ever. I hope you get to see him live in concert. His concert was one of the most enjoyable concerts that I’ve experienced.
This is an old Buck Owens song. Always loved that The Beatles covered it. It shows their versatility and talent to play a country song quite convincingly. Not bad at all for a band of British boys. ❤
There’s Boys and I Wanna Be your Man which are good songs that’s performed by Ringo in the Beatles, great live footage, underrated drummer and singer… and this is an Underrated channel, BIG UPS👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Ringo sings lead with the Beatles on Boys, I Wanna Be Your Man, Honey Don't, What Goes On, Yellow Submarine, With A Little Help From My Friends, Good Night, Don't Pass Me By, Octopus' Garden and Matchbox are all I can think of off the top of my head.
Beatles Songs With Ringo On Lead Vocals: Boys, I Wanna Be Your Man, Honey Don't, Act Naturally, Yellow Submarine, With a Little Help From My Friends, Don't Pass Me By, Good Night, Octopus's Garden...
I've been a Beatles fan for many years and just realized that I for think I've ever seen Ringo singing lead in a live performance. I've heard him of course, but I'm glad you found this. By the way, I saw him on some talk shows last year. He's a fun guest with good stories and still looks mighty fine. I think it was on Fallon and Kimmel if you want to check the out. I enjoy watching your joy as you dive into their catalog. Some day, I hope you listen to each of their albums as a band and then after. I think you'll find yourself on a whole new adventure.
Ringo singing Boys is amazing he actually SINGS it, the version from the film 8 days a week is best. As a gay I appreciate that there's only one point where he corrects the sex. One of the things that fed the Beatles genius was they covered/learned a lot from a lot of Black girl groups as well as all the blues and rock gods, that all the other British bands loved too. Please Please Mr Postman being the most famous example I guess. PS you bring us a lot of joy out here.
Other Ringo songs with The Beatles include Boys, I Wanna Be Your Man, Honey Don't, What Goes On, Yellow Submarine, With A Little Help From My Friends, Don't Pass Me By, Good Night and Octopus's Garden - most are covers, but Don't Pass Me By and Octopus's Garden he wrote himself.
Ringo toured as "Ringo and His All-Star Band" with many stars playing with him. I have seen them at least 3 times. Each time, Peter Frampton was his guitarist and he had other big hitters with him as well. The cool thing was that they played Ringo's songs but also the biggest hits of his guest players. I don't know if they're still doing it but if you have a chance, go see them.
JAYY, your mission statement claims to focus on versatility so here's one for you DANNY'S ALL STAR JOINT by Rickie Lee Jones , I hope you like it even a fraction as much as I do. Love your channel and song choices.I hope you don't only go by how many requests you get got a song because this is a little eclectic.
Hi Ms. Jayy, The Beatles are great.. We need to hear some Ms. Anita Baker.. Here is a link to a list of some of her Songs; all are Good, some better than others of course.. On the right side of this page is the List with views.. I think U should pick one from time to time.. I saw Ms. Anita in 2018.. I actually gave her some Flowers.. ☺ ♠W.G. ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=anita+baker
The "skill" is - this song is very hard to play on drums, they way Ringo plays it...what might look easy has a quick, precise timing and rhythm and is extremally hard to copy and keep up for 2:30 minutes - and he sings!
You need to watch Caveman. Ringo is the star. He plays Atouk. They don't speak any known language in the movie but yet you know what they are saying. Atouk zug zug Lana. See?😁
If u ever hear a drummer say that Ringo is not a good drummer, then challenge them to play the drum beat to this song. Even without singing at the same time, it's an extremely tough drum beat to play properly. The smooth shuffle rhythm Ringo plays on this song is REALLY difficult for most people to play...and even those who can play it correctly usually sound very stiff and robotic, and not anywhere near as smooth and swingin' as Ringo played it.

Buck and Ringo later re-recorded it together as a duet.

So rare for the Beatles to EVER do a cover of anyone else's song---let alone a country song, by the great Buck Owens no less---a real gem.
Actually in the early days they did quite a few...
"Roll over Beethoven"
" Twist and Shout"
" Mr. Postman "
Ect...
they sound like a garage band....where the whole neighborhood shows up to jam along....

Yeah, I'm familiar with this song, but I'd never seen this clip of them performing it live.

Ringo!!!! 👏
This was originally recorded by Johnny Russell (Rednecks, White Socks And Blue Ribbon Beer). Buck Owens also covered it.

Check out Ringo singing "Boys"
WHEN YOU SCREAMED ..............JUST LIKE THE GIRLS BACK IN THE DAY !
Octopus garden is another one that Ringo does
A couple of suggestions, if you haven’t already reacted, are “Dr. Roberts” and “Sexy Sadie”. You’d love ‘em both!
He does sound good. His songs are the ones I like listening to a lot of the time.
He also had more hit songs right after the beatles broke up
Have you seen the video where Ringo sings BOYS?
For more Ringo singing check-out "A Little Help From My Friends" "Yellow Submarine" and "Octopus's Garden"
😍
Ringo sings With A Little Help From My Friends by The Beatles. It is a great song to do a reaction to.
Please React to music video "One Love" by Whodini.

Ringo was not much for singing at the time
Probably one of their least best songs. But they had to indulge Ringo and his love of C&W 😉

Try "Octopuss Garden" and "Yellow Submarine" :)
He sings OCTOPUS'S GARDEN which he wrote
The Beatles picked this song especially for Ringo.
Ringo Don't pass me by! With the Beatles
you should check out A Day in the Life by The Beatles it's one of my favorite songs by them
Ringo sings one song on most (but not all) Beatles albums
Ringo sang lead vocals on 11 Beatles songs
Ringo also sings; "What goes on", "Boys", " I wanna be your man", " Honey Don't "...etc.
This song is so goood!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your Beatles binge. ❤. Keep going.
