My crazy family in Canada has built a sauna on the side of a river and in the winter we cut a big enough block out of the river ice. We go in the sauna, nearly die from heat exposure, then we go outside and jump into the river quite happily to cool down. Temperature is well below freezing outside and the river itself is somewhere around 4°C. Good times, usually the consumption of Canadian beer (there is a difference from the stuff you get in the US) is had and we always have a great time. Only the outer layers of skin is cooled by the water and because you're still warm from the sauna, the cold feels like a cool summer breeze. Sauna in the winter is awesome! We do it in Sweden as well although not to the same extent as the Finns.
8:30 is even funnier because the sign says "Joka päivä" meaning "every day"
hahahaha
Niko Yokohama lol
Joka Paiva is Finnish for Jake Paul.
@Shallex Yes. Joka Paiva means Jake Paul and this is why he sang the incredible song "it's every day bro". Anyone who denies this is an Estonian who doesn't understand real Finnish.
"Joka päivä bro!"
My favorite Conan without borders, because he visited my home country. Thank you Conan for visiting and we would love to have you again someday...
Stfu
Can’t believe that the entire population of Finland showed up to greet Conan. Astonishing
The CONAN team did an amazing job at graphically restoring this special. Excellent!
PERRRKELE!!
Love Finland and Conan, greetings from Czech Rep.! 🇨🇿
Vaclav M kiitos!!
PERKELE!
Greetings to ice humans from the north pole, cheers from the southern pole and pacific, Indonesia.
P.s : seriously guys, when visiting us in hot regions, use the damn sunscreen and hats...we have enough dealing with melting Finns!and remembers, australia is not the only ones that have "nature wants to kill you" situations, so eat sambals carefully.😂😂

After having lived in Europe, I noticed their TV shows and news are way less produced. If they replayed TV from the 90's I really couldn't tell. The "good" stuff was actually American shows/ re-runs that were dubbed in the local language. I think Conan strikes a chord with viewers from an older generation of TV viewers in the way he offers something smart, witty, and informative (Carson era television). He's also relatable with younger viewers because he's not afriad to go out of "correctness" and break the mold of late night. It's really refreshing to have an interpretation of what late night television can be. These remotes will always be timeless. I can see why he's a hit in Finland :D
Much love and respect to the people of Finland from you friends in Kuwait.
Do You Conan at Kuwait TV ?
i miss Finland. Land of the introverts. Great country. Felt like home to me.
i was confused why no one in finland had an iphone in 2019 and then realized this is from 2006
Still no one in finland has iphones because we think with our brains not with our flex
Seksikkäät Nakkisormet that’s cool, you want me to bow to you or something
jack You could bow to me
@@tacojack2982 lmao ur superior nokia phones destroy any thing in it's way. (Please help us they would destroy us too of we would try to buy anything else)
Iiro Ovaskainen easy young one. A war of that caliber could cause famine and mass destruction we cannot get ahead of ourselves
I don't know how many times I watched this back in 2006. I had such a crush on Conan back then.
Conan will go down as one of the most beloved most respected most revered and most sought-after talk show host of all time
This was such a fun thing to live through. Pretty much grew up seeing Conan on Subtv and having him actually come to my lil country was so cool.
One of the best comedian I ever seen 😊

Just back in March 2019 Conan goes to australia.....we just next door...we got plenty animals, fruits and vegetations that wants to kill you too...:'(
Man, I like when conan travels around the world and does his shows, it's always great
This was the very first remote in CONAN. Now theres been like 20 of them. Everyone can applaude Finnish ppl for their intense fanship for starting maybe the best skit in Conans show :) U welcome!
Hes litterally a King there DAMN!! I had no idea that many people watched him in Finland i mean i watch him but still
I haven't seen this since it first aired. I was a kid and absolutely loved late night tv. This stood out as a really awesome episode, and I've had the warmest impression of the Finnish people ever since.
Years later and the Finns I have met have only confirmed my intuition. Genuinely some of the coolest and kindest people in the world! 🇫🇮
Conan should make another visit to Finland but on summer. Totally different vibe.
I think this was probably my favourite remote of the NBC era. Even the outtakes were gold.
We miss you Conan. Love from Finland.
Such an iconic skit. I remember watching this and all the jokes leading up to it live. Now I just feel old lol
Same but here in my country the Philippines. :)
They absolutely LOVE him out there! That's actually really cool.
This was hysterical and brilliant! Conan truly is the US's best ambassador.
i’m glad he gets the recognition he deserves
3:36 somebody threw a shoe at him. *HOW CAN ANYONE NOT NOTICE THIS*
I saw it too
Me too, and it was just inches from his face!
Not a shoe, but some sort of stuffed animal. Looks a bit like a bunny of some sort. Nonetheless, the security measuress were kinda slack. Even the ladder was wobbly as hell where Conan climbed on.
@@dudesome69 incase you dont know even our top politicians still dont have much better security measures :)
Looked like a glove to me. I was like: "Why would you do that?" Take something fun and lighthearted and start throwing things? Come on.
He is FINALY not a giraffe amongst ppl.. So weird to watch
Really how tall that people. Almost all of them around same height with Conan! They are tall!
That’s Scandinavia for you
Hahaha, you are not that popular in China. They don’t know you
@Картофель Nope, the Dutch with an average of height for men of 1.84 cm or 6 foot (Germany 1.81 cm or 5 foot 9)
@@prinsfloor The dutch are germanic, read what he wrote again.
Omg this had me crying! Conan is one of a kind and the welcoming he got in Finland was amazing, the police escort and crowds were crazy!
I LOVE THIS! As a Finnish American (who is also Irish) this video was so cool and I grew up watching it!!!!
This is true start point of Conan Without Border. FANTASTIC.
I'm just a Finnish Canadian, but I love this. Conan really seemed to have a great time over there. Kiitos, Conan. 😃🇨🇦🇫🇮
Support the motion of Conan’s traveling show! 🌎 🌍 🔥
Kerem Gregg you are my wife now. 😎
Yes!
Next on Travel Channel... Its Conan around the world
"If you miss your cruise, you can walk after it."
"There's a rumor that there was a polar bear, but he shot himself, cause he couldn't take it anymore."
XD XD XD I didn't know Conan was already doing crazy remotes thirteen years ago.
I like to imagine all these people didn't know Conan was coming and were just celebrating Conan on their own.
Lmao the Chinese guys probably thought Conan was drunk
Every where you go there's at least two Chinese people taking pictures , even in the deepest hottest uninhabited place in the Sahara desert you'll find some random Chinese guy having a sun bath while spying for the Chinese government .

"CONAN AROUND THE WORLD" Will be the next big thing!!!
I’m an American but I love these comments because Conan is a big deal, he’s my favorite television figure
"Fagerström!! I know you're in there!" I can still quote the best bits.
We still love you Conan! please come back to Finland
I love Conan, in a country full of fans he makes sure to take time and fine people who have know idea who he is, guess thats how he stays humble.
YES. THank you to TEAMCOCO for uploading this absolute classic! It made me laugh it made me cry. It reinvigorated my love for Conan. I think it was the first foreign country he visited? CONAN CITIZEN OF THE WORLD
