I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.
Finally someone that doesnt put their fat fingers in the way of seeing how to do this. Thank you my good sir. You have been blessed with a like. May God bless you on your grass cutting adventure! Good day!
Thanks for showing me how to do this. I just purchased a Husqvarna and the guy at Lowes didnt explain how to string the line very well. So I pulled up your video and got it done. Thanks
Your the best well explain it watch many videos with no help at all... I came a cross yours it was perfect I did it yeah thanks a bunch ....I'm 45 years old always waiting and waiting for then to change the line for me ..Im the one doing my own Lanscape at the house ...God bless you ...i fell awesome now dont need to depend on no one to change the line ..thanks once again
Thank you, my brother owned a lawn care business and always was on hand to do these things for me, he passed away and now I gotta learn to fend for myself. Thank you! I was freaking out lol the landlord wants it done and I didnt know how to do this.
My pleasure, glad I can help, but which Lowe that is nice enough to help you rewind the line? It is like impossible to get that kind of help let alone basic knowledge or assistance from the store close to me. Thanks for watching.🙏
Oh my God! I've been doing it radically wrong for 27 years! I used to take one piece of cord and do the bottom and then another piece and do the top which often meant the bottom would dislodge and come loose and I'd have to do it all over it again several times. I didn't know what all those notches were for to begin with---I'd end up with the cord between my teeth to prevent it from unwinding while I worked on the upper section, I'd run out of hands and teeth to do this job and it would take me an hour and 2 beers to do it! I hated it! IT'S SO EASY NOW AND ONLY TAKES 5 MINUTES NOW AND I'M SAVING TONS OF BEER MONEY, TOO! Thank you so much for this video! Now I look forward to weed wacking and I've switched from beer to Chablis!
Thank you bud it was impossible to understand on my own but this video was straight forward and more informative. Was always used to stringing a stihl until my husqvarna! Great video bud
Excellent ... i was going to return my whacker....but this is so straight forward...I also think they sell already wound spools....but this is so easy...thank you.
Thank you! I’m standing in Lowe’s right now, trying to decide if I want to buy this trimmer. (I hate complicated string replacement). ....I’m buying it. Appreciate the help.
Thank you! Two different people showed me the wrong way to wind it. One was in a shop that sells this brand. The booklet is impossible to make heads or tails from. I was lucky I was not hurt by using it wound and placed incorrectly.
Great job very helpful. I've been doing mine wrong for about 3 or 4 years. Guess I should looked at the manual. Thx. I just subscribed cause I know u have other videos.
haha im happy i followed this to the t and then noticed that at the top of the piece you wind the string on says wind it the opposite way. then i checked this vid again and you can see hes winding it the wrong way.

Don't think they made this trimmer 25 years ago or even longer ago. Other trimmers wrap differently
