- In order to get Vern to take her on a trip to Havana, Margie promises to be on her best behavior. Events conspire to ruin her plan as all kinds of problems pop up throwing the Albright apartment into chaos.
Margie lives with her father Vern and her crazy schemes get him into trouble especially with his boss Mr. Honeywell. She frequently involves Charlie and Mrs. Odetts in her plans. Freddie is her boyfriend while Roberta likes Vern.

Mrs Odette...love her! Hillary Brooke adopted her upper class accent to distinguish herself from all the other 👱♀️ in film land. She was a good actress.

As a little girl growing up in the 50s and early 60s I remember My Little Margie so well. I am now in my late 60s. To this day I can repeat word for word the opening of the show. I admit I don’t know exactly what Vern said from his picture it ‘s Margie’s opening of “That’s my father…” has been with me a lifetime. Love it!!!
Gale Storm looks good in her shorts. But she's definitely not 21 years old. Her and Vern are "Flying down to Havana" from New York. I remember in 56 I was on a business trip with my dad. We took a break and boarded the overnight boat from Miami to Havana. Toured the city and then retuned to Miami that night by the same boat. It was a regular tour routine in those days. A lot of fun.

Such as funny and wonderful show. The whole cast is great. I agree that Gale looks great in shorts. She had great legs and would show them off in this show quite a bit.
Great show. It brings an old guy back to his childhood. I saw them all in syndication. It's just some good old wholesome high jinx. All of the characters were played well. You gotta love Mrs. Odetta as Gale Storm's partner in crime. It's hysterical that Margie's dad was going to Havana, Cuba for some reason as Margie hatched a plan to join father. Even better is Hillary Brooke is in the series.
