- Hello! My name is TEEJ. I am an aspiring music artist and content creator. Today I will be reacting to BTS again in hopes of expanding my K-pop knowledge and music library. Fingers crossed you like me reacting to my first listen to this BTS song.

Jin had injured his hand and had to have surgery and protect it from getting jarred , so they limited how much he could dance. Hobi and JK were also barely recovered from COVID. There is a behind the scenes video of everything it took to pull this performance off. It was insane that they succeeded.
Well enough that I wouldn't have noticed any downsides 👏👏
Jin got injured during their practice for Butter before flying out to the US so he can’t dance most of the choreo to avoid issues with the healing of his finger. plus JK and Hobi both caught covid during that time so the 1st time they really practiced with complete members was just a day before the actual performance. they really just polished it right before the actual performance.
i love Hobi’s sound effects everytime they are practicing their moves. Nick Joseph choreographed the Butter 3Js perf. the one in the vid helping them. they also have their own dance perf director Mr. Son Sungdeuk which has been with them since day 1. they performed Butter with Megan in their PTD concert.
Hobi doesn’t have bones in his body 😅 its more amazing when you see their We are Bulletproof pt.2 choreo. its always great to see 3J together.. they are all perfectionists, so imagine if all 7 were here, how many endless final final they’ll do💜
btw, they always do a special performance for ARMY mostly during Muster, like the one for Sowoozoo, they performed Daechwita (Yoongi solo) and Chicken Noodle Soup (Hobi solo) as OT7, like what they did with Ddaeng which is originally a rapline song.
Last minute polish is kinda wild to think about for a Grammys. lol doesn't have bones in his body, heard!

These long videos, I APPROVE! 3J always eats. They’ve done two other performances together. One for their anniversary and one for an award show. Check those out when you can. 💜 That’s why Hobi is pretty much the dance leader. They all agree he’s the best dancer in the group. The man is meticulous when it comes to dancing but before someone jumps me, they’re all amazing in their own way. Jimin being another main dancer like Hobi. I don’t like to put labels on any member but yeah.

I’m gonna assume they all understand to some extent English but they still need translators besides RM of course. Meg performed Butter with them at a concert and during that meet up she also gave them gifts. I know there was liquor involved. There was another clip of this meeting but it was on one of their DVDs they put out of behind the scenes stuff. You mentioned Yoongi being quiet, that’s the first time they met Megan so they tend to be a bit quiet but as you saw they became more comfortable. Now if you wanna see Yoongi be out there, you should see his amazing friendship with Halsey. BTS are close friends with her but she clicks with Yoongi a lot more.

I'm used to watch their dance practices at least 7 times - ones focus on each member - so watching our 3J 3 times is the minimum! So feel free to rewatch part of contents all you need/want. :D
Oh, I hadn't seen the 'artist protection' BT21 stickers in forever! This was before Chapter 2 and all the casual shirtlessness, so every time there was a flash of skin, the editors would cover it up with a sticker.
Btw, the choregrapher for this was Nick Joseph, who also performed as one of the back up dancers for JK'S Golden videos and performances and who also choreographed Enhypen's Drunk Dazed early on in their career. Super talented guy!
They still use the stickers for certain videos and members, it has to do with consent, if the members don't want their skin to be shown, they ask for a cover-up, even JK did that post Golden.

Hey Teej, this Grammy performance was I think a bit of a FLEX for the previous year where they were supposedly performing "next" when in fact they didn't get to perform until the next to the last performance (even though it was pre-recorded due to Covid). Also, for the times they were snubbed by Scammys. They received a standing ovation that night!! And it was so deserved!! They did an awesome job even with J-hope and JK barely over Covid and arriving just the day before, barely any practice time and the jacket trick working to what I'd say was perfection!! These guys are just so with it!! Know what I mean?? Hope you get the chance to watch the behind scenes to the Grammy performance! It is very cool. Also, you may want to rewatch as there are things going on in the background I don't think you noticed!! Thanks for a great reaction, had some laughs at your expressions!! I know they never cease to amaze me!! Hope they keep amazing you as well! Can't wait for you to get more into their live performances! They sounds so much better live!

Another thing to know about this collab (if someone else didn't tell you) was that it almost didn't happen. Megan and BTS did the recording for the song but her jacked up company (she was fighting to leave) wanted to stop the song. As a rule Big Hit usually pays THE ARTIST and not the company if possible because they believe ARTISTS should be paid moreso than the agencies. Her company wanted to get money and Megan said no. So they tried to hold up the song but Big Hit sent THEIR lawyers in to help Meg fight and the company caved.

they are always a bit shy meeting celebs but I love how happy they were to meet megan and they were all so sweet trying to do the hand signal choreo. I hope they work together another time! the story behind this collab was so crazy...megan's label tried to block it and she brought them to court for the right to release the collab and that's how ARMY even knew it was happening, through court docs! so on twitter everyone was supporting her and changing their profile pics to pink and we even got bts to change it to pink too! it was a really fun army memory and I LOVE her verse. she came out on the stage to perform with them on one of the tour nights too and when she appeared the crowd was SO LOUD and the energy was so great! everyone yelled her verse with her but ppl were surprised and excited and so loud so you almost couldn't hear! I feel like Megan is one of those people who have collabed with bts who has kind of a special place in ARMYs heart.

And in general they are the original "dance line" so they sometimes have special sub-units performances or present more demanding choreos in BTS performances (as in MMA 2018 and 2019 for example)... anyways... it's a long rabbit hole😂

I was so proud of this Grammy Performance. So much so that my 54 year old self was screaming at the TV like I did back in the 80's to Bon Jovi 😂💜 AND they got a Standing Ovation 🙌. I feel the same way about Jhope, Dance makes up 99% of his DNA. Always fun watching with you you're so charming.

Loved this reaction. Really enjoyed re watching 3J performance, and I could have gone the 3rd time so it was nice to include the dance practice. Love you adding the meeting with Megan Thee Stallion, it was my first time to see. Appreciate it.
I almost forgot about Butter at the Grammy's, Jin was not dancing due to surgery on his hand, not sure if you noticed he was at the end part after Suga raps (hidden with other members behind back up dancers) as RM raps members revealed at 3:47 and finishes the song with them.
There is another epic performance of On at Grand Central Station for the Jimmy Fallon show. It was taken down for a long while and just showed up in the last month or two. Suggest watch sooner than later in case it is removed again, it also got a lot of views.
Just to let you know Army will watch things over and over again, so don't feel bad about the 5, 10 second rewind or any of it. We love BTS being appreciated and shown love. I love that you are enjoying the journey.
If not on your list add J Hope More and Arson, mv preferably in that order that is how J Hope performs them. There is a live at the MAMA 2022, this was right before Jin went in the military. I think BTS and J Hope won 7 total awards that night. J Hope was the only one from BTS to attend and performed. That performance shocked me, I had only been Army about 6 months and I saw the live first then videos, but I was shocked to see that side of J Hope. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

3J are amazing! 💜They are the best dancers in K-Pop and more! Talents with a capital T! Such hard workers - they will do 100 takes until they like it and it’s perfect... Although even on the third take everything was already fine. And plus there are wonderful people and friends (and not just friends, but family).

i think it was jimin that mentioned in an interview once that they do their best to put 100% into every performance because you never know if that will be someone's first time seeing bts;-;
man i have so much respect for how they make each butter stage feel as exciting and fun as the first
(also big kudos to the team that helps make new instrumental arrangements for each performance! it probably helps bts with the "i'm performing this song for the 10th time this week" slump and most definitely makes it so much more fun for army:))
the thought of being a fan of someone and wanting to watch every promotion performance of a new song but having to sit through multiple videos with identical audio, performed by artists who are clearly over it sounds like a nightmare lmao

Okay, I may end up watching the whole thing. I have seen both of the movies you mentioned and love that card scene! 😊You can always rewind it again and ARMY will not be upset.
About the guys' fluency. They know enough eng to understand enough of conversations happening around them. Like many people trying to learn another language, they don't feel as confident to speak up many times. But by the amount of eng they know and Namjoon (RM) definitely gives context clues with his body language, they can follow conversations happening.
So true. They all follow along most conversations fairly well. All 7 have come a long long way with pronunciation. Jin can carry on a conversation and still be very funny i.e. Malta pub. Hobi has studied hard and it showed at Lollapalooza. JK has been studying English in his hotel room for years. He wants to be perfect. Certainly his all English album sounded amazing. V and Jimin are getting there. I think we all know Yoongi is secretly fluent but too shy to speak. No translation was needed when Jimmy Fallon pointed to the spoon for him to eat it and Yoongi shook his head and said No! Too too funny, I couldn't stop laughing.
J-Hope hope is the best dancer and dancer leader of BTS. He's always correcting the guys during practice. So now you know why their performance is always perfect.

Oh my... ok. I typically watch then respond... but out of the gate I got to say, based on your thumbnails... you did this right and it is the only reason I'm watching. LOL. The grammy performance is the only way I'll watch Butter because the song is one of my least favorite of BTS. Butter and Dynamite are too poppy without substance... but are made better knowing they literally made them during the pandemic when they had been planning to take their break for military then... but the world changed and they just wanted to give the fans a song they could be uplifted by during those dark times. They had no idea they were going to take off like they did. And then you did the 3J dance to Megan's additional verse. LOVE that dance so much. And the behind the scenes of them filming that breaks my heart the way they work so hard for something just for fun because that is their work ethic and what they do. These guys are something to watch and people to respect. Now... onto your somehow 42 minute video involving Butter... which I can't say I thought I'd ever watch. LOL. Hope you have a great day!

It was amazing watching the grammy performance when it was live on TV i about passed out. As for the James Bond theme that exactly what they were going for
I love our boys are huge dogs lovers, there are so many behind the scenes where they always seem to find a dog to gush over, think they where more happy to see fore then Megan🤣🤣

In Butter they were meant to be criminals undercover not spies. They had to practice this dance largely without JK and J-Hope because they got COVID and were only just out of quarantine in time to perform. You can see the behind the scenes of them practicing and working out their moves without Hobi's help but despite missing him they were on it. They couldn't risk Jin performing and knocking his hand. He knocked it during the Live after this performance and it was obviously very painful.
The 3Js' dance break was choreographed by Nick Joseph, the guy with the mask. It was so cool how he interpreted 'Megan Thee Stallion's lyrics so perfectly in their dance moves. You could see in the behind the scenes how particular they are at getting it as perfect as they possible can.

Jungkook and J-Hope's spoken English is coming along and Yoongi understands quite a lot but is reluctant to speak in English. They would've understood a bit of what she's saying. Notice how SUGA and V had to hold Megan's dog. SUGA has a family dog and V has a dog of his own. J-Hope mentioned his family dog Mickey too.

Sim, o vídeo é difícil de ver porque qualquer imagem menos transparente ou maior do que esta foi bloqueada. Fiz alguns uploads de teste para ver a reação do YT a diferentes filtros, etc. Fiquei um pouco confuso porque outros canais publicaram-no com poucas ou nenhumas alterações sem serem bloqueados. Acho que me está a faltar alguma coisa, mas ainda não sei. Vou descobrir em breve.

Hi TEEJ! Since you said this will be your last reaction to any more Butter performances, it’s too bad, or please watch on your own time the behind scenes for the Grammy performance since there was actually a lot of confusion having to adapt and then J-Hope showing up only in time for the last rehearsal. Someone already explained why for some members. When I get to the Megan the Stallion meet up, Yoongi will be very quiet. He usually is upon a first time meet. He does get along and has collaborated with Halsey so he’s very comfortable with her. I haven’t even watched it yet, so may have to finish watching in a couple of days. I just had to see what you say as you are becoming one of my favourite new reactors! They all are ‘lady killers’ to me. Something did happen in the performance but I won’t say since it shows n the behind the scenes. It also says what V said to Olivia Rodriguez. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫰🏻🇨🇦
