When I die, I want someone to take all the photos and videos of my life and make a collage to this song. Start w my birth, upbringing, personal growth and build to the best moments of my life, accomplishments, good memories and family moments and eventually go down my life as I enter old age to the ultimate end. Its been a fun ride...
Dear Eric, I want to express my greatest gratitude to you. I fulfilled my dream of listening to OPUS live, at dawn. In Buenos Aires, on February 11, 2023. You blew my mind for 4 hours and you closed in an epic way in front of thousands of people and one of those people was me. Crying and jumping, thank you for giving me the best time of my life. I hope you come back soon, I LOVE YOU!!!!!
This song is like life itself. Starts off slow and as a child you just want it to go faster. As you grow the speed in which life passes increases. You realize life is passing you by and you cannot slow it down or go back. As you start to grasp at life trying to slow it down it just hits you full force, but it's too late to go back to the way things were....When life was simple.
This song is about the story of life. You start out small, a single cell .. a few moments later you are two cells at 3:43 you are born. Then it starts, your life. It get's complicated fast. You will experience moments of joy, moments of sadness. You will live you life to the fullest and then before you know it everything starts to slow down, you can see the end. Just a little longer. Things you did become a vage memory, you look back one more time and then it ends.....

I owe the best weekend of my life to this song. My wife and I live in the Netherlands and we were driving home from a trance party on a Friday night some years ago. At the moment we had to get off at a highway intersection to go towards our hometown, this exact song came on the radio in an amazing trance mix. Still in a festival buzz, we looked at each other and said: "What the hell, let's just keep going". So in stead of getting off there, we kept driving south all through the night, across Belgium and France with this awesome 24h mix marathon on the radio. We arrived 1100km and 12 hours later on the coast of the Mediterranean, where we met up with a group of surfer friends who lived nearby. We crashed out on the beach for a couple of hours and spent the next 2 days surfing, eating, drinking, smoking, making love and music around a campfire on that beach, before driving back on Monday after the best fucking spontaneous weekend of our lives. All because your song came on the radio at the perfect moment. That smile will never leave my face when I hear this song, so thank you!
+arithmetisches Mittel Absolutely true! This is actually a stand-out track of the current era of dance music and it still doesn't come close to the glory days of the early-mid-90s/early-00's!
+arithmetisches Mittel still im 93. generation but i really miss good old days of dance trance and techno music... music made with heart and soul... :/
+Brian Cha Seriously all these special snowflakes who were born in the "wrong generation" need to get off their high horse. Does nobody remember all the shit that came out in the 80's and 90's? Does nobody remember "Thousand" by moby?
Caer y volver a levantarse.
This is such a strange song, you hardly even feel it accelerating or slowing down, it's all just so gradual and slow, yet so intense. It doesn't even stop at the drop, it gets even faster and then a second drop comes on top of the first. This song is just mesmerising. Been listening to this for years, it hasn't aged one bit to my ears and I don't think it ever will
Heard this song for the first time last night. Me and my brother smoke a blunt. Riding on the freeway looking at Los Angeles from a far with the sun setting and the song on max. The feeling was amazing, music will forever be an amazing form of sharing feelings. Something so amazing about music.
I heard this twice during a trip to Cancun nightclubs. The lightshow flashing in tune with the notes, mixed with the massive bass vibrating your skeleton to the beat of the music accelerating is something I will never forget.
the exact same thing happened to me when I was there in March! add that with all the people who were there in the crowd, and it was an amazing experience
Hi, I discovered this music last week and I had the same thought. That's why I created an illustration of this idea with some movie scenes. Check it if you want, i tried my best to show all the emotion of this music. This is called "The Emotion of Life".
This is exactly what me and my friends think when we listen to this song ! Nothing could describe better all the different and possible emotions of a lifetime.
It makes me feel peaceful, Joyful, sad and gives me the sensation that i could achieve anything i want at that moment, and all of that at the same time. Simply marvelous
I have no idea why......but when I listen to this song, especially the first 4 minutes, I feel like it really gives me power and motivation. Been having a rough time recently with the breakdown of my relationship and impending exams. But this motivates me to get the fuck up and do something rather than wallow in self pity. It just shows the beauty of music as a medium that can heal what words cannot :) amazing song and an amazing artist
This song makes me imagine: being born, being a child, learning things, starting in school, going through high school, falling in love for the first time, failing, starting to work, having fun with friends, falling in love for the second time, finding the chosen one, travel together, have children, watch them grow, grow old together until you are only surrounded by your loved ones, giving your last breath, saying: it was fun.
When I was young, my mum played this song on RUclips. I was looking for the name of that song, but we forgot it. I was looking for this song for years, it was with me during mu hardest moments of life, playing in a darkest corner of my memory, when I was sad, when I was happy, when I needed a motivation... And I finally found it. The Soul Anthem Its more than perfection
My dad was a huge EDM fan (Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren etc.) He k*lled himself almost 2 years ago. He raised me on this type of music and i just now found this song and was sobbing the whole time. Wish i could listen to this with him one last time. This feels like a warm hug from him. Thank you dad for raising me to love and really feel the music. (Sry for my english)
I am so sorry about you´re dad , music is emotion . Im sure he is hugging you . Let youre tears go sweetheart , time will make it better . I lost my dad when i was 21 i cried my eyes out listening to music. Take care of yourself . Youre dads taste in music is excellent.❤️
@Iores Pyadzee it can be that way but i believe that music isn’t really the issue here. It is as if you were saying that physical activity is bad because it produces happy hormones and you now cant do it because you wont be happy otherwise and will be depend on working out forever. Thats the same. It is just a chemical reaction in your brain. If you feel you cant be happy without EDM, try some other sources of those hormones it really helps and there is plenty of info on the internet on this. I can imagine that even med school can put you in that depressive state bc of the stress from exams and everything. Btw i m 21 yr old psychology student and know how university can be super hard and depressive. Just know that by time it gets always better you just need to stay strong and fight your way through. Fingers crossed with your carrier and take care ❤️
Same... Its just like traveling back to when something happened but you dont see or hear what it was because all you see is your phone/tablet/computers screen. Just wow...

Hooks i would say strobe is the strobe of this decade seeing as it hasn't been 10 years since it was created..that being said this is an amazing song though!!
There is so many songs about love... but for me, this is the best one. I feel like two soundscapes are closer, closer and in 3:44 they met. It's about living in harmony. It's about being complete with second person. It's about finding your place in life and live it to the limit... till the end...
This is the music to last. Not a track to be played for a couple of months and get forgotten. That's what you'd be listening to decades from now. Revisiting this masterpiece right now. Amazing.
deadmau5's Strobe , Polaris, HR-8938 and Eric's Opus = always brings me to tears for no reason. You dont need lyrics to express emotions in songs . Thank you for making these compositions :)
spend some time listening to deadmau5 and boy, will you find much more to come. there are minimal, uplifting, hard tracks, almost anything you can think of
This song takes me through a journey of all the memories I've ever made in my entire life and it's otherworldly. The amount of chills I felt in the past few minutes, it's just crazy.
For me, this song is the circle of Life. We are born, we fight from the first second of our lives just to perish at the end. Don't get me wrong, I think that's beautiful :)
I have no idea why or explanation, but I've never had a song without lyrics randomly make me cry. I started crying hearing this at work. I love this song
first time I heard this: This is okay I guess 2nd time: This is actually pretty catchy 3rd time: Ok this is pretty cool 4th and counting: Okay this is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard!
Bro that was literally me except, 1st: meh, not bad. 2nd: ran into it again while I was listening to some other edm, thought ok this song has some good feels to it. 3rd: heard it on Sirius xm while driving in caddy with the bass on max...felt like I was in heaven, now I love this song!
The intro brings feels of an ending, this is it, this is where it ends. But, the ending is ok, you've accepted it, your smiling, its ok, you finally understand, its actually beautiful and everything will be ok. Everything comes together. Peace is restored. A ending and a beginning, all in one.
This song gives me goosebumps, motivation and Energy, when I hear it, I’m my head I’m taken to a field, and in the field is thousands of other people, just standing or dancing to this song live and I always get taken to that place when I hear this song and that is what I genuinely believe to be my happy place, seeing other people with the same emotion as me, I just don’t want the song to end.
Prydz is the master, and I don’t think he will ever top this tune. If that’s the case, that’s not a problem because this alone is as much as we need. What a masterpiece.
I'm not someone who bangs his head or shows emotion at home. But when THIS is on, I dance around and shoot my blood pressure up. One of the best tracks EVER.
Shoresy brought me here😢 that pep talk and his last game with this music got me.... Then him by himself with the cup taking a knee, 😭 fucking got me even more. Jared keeso, you really know how to set the fucking tone!!!
man none of you guys actually can comprehend how good those composers were back in that time period. they didn't have computers to do their work. and they worked their ASSES off, FAR harder than anyone in the past 150 years. NOT ONE single artist is even close to a fraction of what they were at in terms of skill. these comments comparing modern day musicians to musicians of the classical, baroque, or romantic periods of classical music are so FUCKING STUPID. end of story. good day to all of you idiots.
This shit does something to me, I can't explain it, it gives me hope, it gives me strenght, it makes me feel like I can do anything, makes me feel like I'm going super saiyan and am ready for anything......................gooooooooooooooooooooo
I know I'll fail in the future, maybe go broke... hell, even addicted to something sinister, but this song? this song assures me that being alive right now is necessary and I can be better, even if I'm doing nothing. Here's for all of you trying to find your path and live with happiness and grace... it's closer than you think, don't give up. See you at the top.

This song does not say a word but still speaks so much. BEST SONG EVER
"There is a voice that does not words. Listen!"
Es solo copia de Zorba el griego
Song need lyrics , as u said in ur comment there's none , so what should u call this instead ? A TRACK 🤦
That smile will never leave my face when I hear this song, so thank you!

you need to experience it, go to his EPIC tour...
i wish i had went to his creamfields set...

Bt Ort oh cool!
This is one of the tracks, where you will look back and say: "The music was better in the old days".
+arithmetisches Mittel Absolutely true! This is actually a stand-out track of the current era of dance music and it still doesn't come close to the glory days of the early-mid-90s/early-00's!
the time music was released =\= the quality of the music.
+arithmetisches Mittel still im 93. generation but i really miss good old days of dance trance and techno music... music made with heart and soul... :/
+arithmetisches Mittel : Very good statement, a rare case that holds absolutely true mate!

I so envy to you dude😭

I heard this twice during a trip to Cancun nightclubs. The lightshow flashing in tune with the notes, mixed with the massive bass vibrating your skeleton to the beat of the music accelerating is something I will never forget.
the exact same thing happened to me when I was there in March! add that with all the people who were there in the crowd, and it was an amazing experience

@@FlameFirestarter sorry about your dad too and thank you very much for the heart-warming message, it made my day. Take care ❤️❤️
