NASCAR I’m first to like
KFB of course
YRB

Cry baby Larson
You know kyle busch was happy about his car when he was not on radioactive 😁
Yep, im surprised also that on the bad restart he had or becuuse of the penalty he didnt said something bad, he had a very good behavior
Agreed
He started 19
Ended on 2nd stage 1
Penalty pit stop stage 2 start 20 end stage 2 12
Finish race 5th

I don't think I've ever seen Austin Dillon so happy about his race car
I’m not a Dillon fan but I have gained more respect for him and the 3 team over the last year, he has some very solid races a lot more often than that team used to.

Weird dude.

That kid's face said it all.
He should've given it Joey Logano for winning the race for him.
@@evanprice7967 exactly
Not a Joey fan but he has every right to try to stay on the lead lap within reason, and he was within reason. Blaney took off from Kyle anyway so I don't think he wins even without Joey.
Not to mention they’re teammates. It’s like getting mad at Mike Evans for helping Tom Brady win a super bowl MVP.
Well yea but I mean if ur racing to stay on the lead lap ur not gonna let your teammate blow by ya to set you a lap down
Exactly.
Blaming the 22 is weak.
I like Larson but that was like something crybaby 18 would say
And it wasn't like Logano was the deciding factor at the end. Kyle just wasn't as fast at the end and had burned up those tires, and Blaney was better. Even after Joey got out the way Larson wasn't gaining any time on Blaney
@@Whiteshark111 ya but he said it on his radio to his team. He didn’t go on telling the media and crying about it after the race. Put you in his shoes almost guarantee you say something similar. Joey didn’t do anything wrong but he didn’t do him any favors. Just letting off some steam before he gets out of the car, in the heat of the moment. NASCAR races aren’t easy to win you know. And when you dominate the entire day and it slips away at the end, has to be so deflating.
I can’t be the only one who thinks Larson is gonna be in the top 4 this year.
I agree. I think it might be Hamlin, Larson, Keselowski, and Logano
I honestly think he’s a title favorite.

Well when you buy Parts from where he’s at now and have other racing teams to run I can see why. Nothing to Chip it’s just that Gordon/Hendrick are putting their focus on NASCAR so better quality for all of Hendrick and Larson shows it
Larson should never have been let go last year, and I bet Chip Ganassi is regretting his decision now. In the meantime, it turned out the best thing that could have happened for Kyle.

Some people seem to think Nascar is a popularity contest. Logano is there for one thing and that is to win races. If he doesn't, he will be looking for a new job very soon.
Logano is not going anywhere he has a contact with penske till the end of 2023. He has had a chance to win 2 or 3 races this season.
Huge congrats to Suarez for having a top-10 car all day. Sucks he sped on pit road, but dang it was fun to watch him run so well.
A lot of people in my group wondered if Larson said anything about Logano. But Joey didn't want to go a lap down. It's too bad if Larson can't catch and pass the last car on the lead lap.
I’m thinking it was more Joey was just racing as if he was in first while Larson had the lead and then immediately after ryan took the lead Joey let off the gas for the pass. It’s an “unwritten rule” (which I’ve ALWAYS hated them) that if you’re a lap car you should let the lead cars duke it out for the win. I disagree, if you’re a team owner (aka Penske) you do what you can to get your guys in the playoffs, he had the chance to help Blaney get in and I expect the same to happen if it’s logano racing for the win while Blaney is a lap car. Just part of racing and I love it.
Kurt Angle, I agree with you. But by Joey staying ahead of the leader.... if the caution comes out good things could happen for Joey. Once the leader passes you hold on to the lucky dog spot.
@@paulrodrigues9603 so that philosophy changes when your teammate is the leader? Joey just moved out of the way for Blaney. Kyle is not mean enough. He has a win and is in the chase. He should’ve dumped Joey to send a message even if it risked taking himself out. People need to start sweating when they see Larson in their rear view mirror in that scenario.
@@bolickmj I hate Joey as much as the next guy, but he couldn't get to Joey to dump him. He had used his stuff up. If you watched Joey wasn't changing lanes to block. He continued to run the same line he had been running. Larson said himself he ran hard to build as big of lead as possible and he just used up his stuff.
Joeys a great driver, he's just been targeted as someone to pick on to make their egos feel Good, like their all that when their not.

@@user-rl7cw9eg8e yes it was he kept running the line Larson was trying to run
Now... I understand racing to stay on the lead lap, but it's towards the end of the race ffs, there's hardly anyway you'll be able to be in contention for the win, when you've never been close to the front all day. As a Larson fan, I'm content with Blaney winning, I like him. But if it wasn't for Logano, I bet it would've been a classic photo finish or at the very least another lap or two of Larson trying all he can to battle Blaney.
If a caution came out. New tires a adjustments for all. Then who knows how it will turn out! MacRenolds said usually there is a caution with 20 to go at Atlanta
@2RacingT As much as I can’t stand Logano, I do agree with this statement.
@@paulrodrigues9603 True, but considering the amount of laps left, which were about less then 15 laps. Logano didn't have the car to even come close to the lead for most of the day. Even if there were to be a caution, Logano wouldn't of had the track position to make it to the front, and if he did, his tires would've already been half warn by then or time would've ran out. If it were say Dega or Daytona, then sure, but an abrasive 1/2 mile like Atlanta, it would take him at least two cautions, with two great pit stops.
Give the music guy a raise 🎶
Anyone think Blaney has a chance at the final 4?

Larson's success proves that Jimmie Johnson was the issue, because Larson has had an amazing start with the same team.
Byron and Fugle as a combo is working too, proving that Knaus was the problem there with the 24.
"I hate Joey Logano". What, so you've never helped a team mate Larson. Bull. You CAN NOT blame a team mate for helping their team mate out. Best not to complain about that, because judging by the pace of the 9 crew you'll be needing to help Chase out later this year. That team is most definitely experiencing a championship hang over. Can't say Hendrick aren't fast this year as the stats don't back it.
Larson:
1 Win
3 top 5s
5 top 10s
0 DNFs
Byron:
1 Win
1 top 5
4 top 10s
0 DNFs
Bowman:
1 Pole
1 top 5
3 top 10s
1 DNF
Elliot:
1 Pole
2 top 5s
2 top 10s
1 DNF
All of this from 6 races so far. Not awful, but far from where Elliot needs to be when we get later into the year with already 6 winners from 6 races. Elliot, Kyle Busch and both Ganassi cars are at real risk of missing the top 16 if they don't win in the regular season based off what we've seen so far this year and how many winners there have been.
Props to Larson for not spinning Logano. The lap Blaney gets passed me Logano's car ain't driving straight anymore if that's me.

Idk, this is more similar to 2017. Top 10’s and top 5’s every race but one and one win in only 6 races and ranked 2nd.
He was ranked 2nd nearly all year in 2017 and wasn’t anywhere close in 2018 and went winless since his car that year just kinda sucked.
Honestly, I don’t even think it’s comparable to any of his years at CGR. Like he’s 100% the title favorite this year.
@@joshuapittman4663 def larson and hamlin so far this year
@@billsbetterthanurteam8488 yeah, as long as it doesn’t end up like 2017 with Larson falling off at the end of the year and Hamlin winning or getting a top 5/top 10 in every race like Martin Truex Jr. did then this’ll be Larson’s year.
Granted I said that Larson was gonna win the championship in 2017 when he got 2nd place in about 4 races in a row and then won a race and he completely fell off after he won his 3rd race. Then I said he was gonna win in 2018 because of 2017 being so good and he just got 2nd a ton and went winless, then at the beginning of 2019 I said the same thing thinking that his equipment would have improved, but he went winless until winning at Dover in the playoffs, then in 2020 I said he was gonna win when he was ranked 6th at the 4th race and had 3 top 10’s and he had to go say the n-word after we went to covid break.
So I’m hopeful and I honestly think that he’ll get the championship, but I’m just waiting for something stupid to happen like it always seems to do when it comes to Larson in NASCAR.
Being a Larson fan is pain, just as it was being a Jeff Gordon fan in the 2000’s and 2010’s until he retired, Gordon won his last championship when I was a baby in 2001 and then every year that seemed like a championship year, he got screwed by the format or by another driver like in 2014.
Let’s just hope that Larson doesn’t get dicked over like Jeff Gordon did in 2004, 2007, and 2014.
@@joshuapittman4663 yeah larson has been top 3 the last 4 races IMO
I’m an F1 fan trying to learn about NASCAR but what are the stages about they just don’t do the whole race?
It keeps the drivers from sandbagging and saving their cars until the end of the race. With the points being crucial to get your way into the playoffs at the end of the season, drivers are now racing for the duration of the event and not waiting until the end. I personally think it keeps the races more interesting and competitive now that there aren’t long lags in the middle, especially for the longer races like the May race in Charlotte, NC.

To reward the drivers who are constantly up front and competitive. It is supposed to increase competition. If you run up front all the time then you get valuable points.
