► Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield just received a HUGE news drop today - Pokemon presented us with a little less than 10 minutes of a wonderful trailer highlighting the upcoming Crown Tundra, set to release October 22nd 2020! From what i saw in 1st video they show the dlc one of them show u fighting a legendary pokemon with radium npc u get for max raid fights
Whenever I play max raid battles, Martin spams cosmic power and rock polish with his Solrock for most of the battle, then outspeeds everyone just to get the last hit with rock throw.

I usually get lucky of him using rock throw or something

I was worried for a second when you said rental teams. I imagined them giving you a level 5 magikarp against a level 60 rayquaza! Also, if Martin's solrock is a partner, it might not even be worth trying.

Not exactly what I had in mind, but probably the best way.
It will be a nice chalenge. There's no challenge today with 4 people using pseudo legendaries, using super effective STAB moves, with max IVs/EVs to take down Raids, I'm excited to see how it plays out

I’m so happy because of the patch. I hatched a random shiny Grookey last week without the HA, I can finally give it the patch to get hidden ability! I hope there is a way to reset speed IVs to 0 as well, so it does become 100% perfect!
I don’t think downgrading ivs will be a thing, but it could be useful for certain situations like that
By "Ability Patch", I thought they were adding new Abilities to existing Pokémon.
But this is cool. No. This is awesome.
I've always loved the idea of Hidden Abilities but, outside of ORAS' DexNav, they're always such a pain to get.
I just hope there's an easy-ish way to grind for them, though.
I'm kind of disappointed that the old Legendaries are still version-exclusive, though.
I mean, I already knew that they would be but it's still disappointing.
I'm hoping we can at least get multiples of them without having to start a new savefile.
And that they bring back GTS on the Switch, instead of requiring an external device.

I'm super happy that the DLC is coming out sooner than expected, but honestly, the thing I'm currently most excited for (don't judge me) is that my boi Dragonite is coming back. Dragonite has been my favorite Dragon type since my first Pokemon game, FireRed, and I'm just so happy that he's coming back and I can have one on my team again.

That isn’t necessarily true, but I wasn’t counting on a 3rd dlc Anyways. They will probably make a free update where you could encounter the rest of the Pokémon in the dens or just allow them to be traded into the game from home
Element 0099 I agree. We also need to keep in mind that this isn’t the last Pokémon game. Eventually Game Freak is going to move on. As such, they can’t keep adding content forever.
In fact, maybe when the cartridge stuff is out, the third and last dlc will be added to it next year for a substitute of gen 2/4 Remakes. 2 years 4 docs, 2 packs?
A third DLC is unlikely because they’re probably moving onto a different game for next year since it’ll be the 25th anniversary of the series, but releasing a complete edition doesn’t mean the DLC will end.
Mortal Kombat 11 released a complete edition, and it still has upcoming DLC. Jump Force and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 both got Deluxe Editions in Japan, and they’re still getting updates with DLC.
Pokken Tournament on Switch is a Deluxe Edition, and it got DLC.
Just because they release a complete edition, doesn’t mean they’d never consider more DLC

i preferred Shield but it’s all personal! i suggest you look at all the version differences and decide what you want to take, i can give you a list myself if you want :)

Well, if you already have the games, it'd be way cheaper to just save thirty dollars and buy the DLC for your "main" version. Sw+EP and Sh+EP are 80-90 dollar games _(combined cost of the game and the DLC, give or take 10 bucks depending on where you get it.)_
