Jas, I have most of those shadow palettes from LA Colors. The one that is my favorite is the all brown palette that has a silver shimmer in it. So I start out with light brown, then dark brown, and use my finger to apply the shimmer. It's stunning once applied. When it comes to mascaras, LA Colors has a tubing mascara in a pink metallic tube. Its really good IMHO. I use this mascara everyday. Its $4.50, I think. I'm on my first tube of it, but I plan to buy another one once this one runs out. The other mascara that I also like that is sold at DT is from Wet n' Wild in the teal green tube. I use that one too. Its a wet formula whereas the LA Colors one is thick. Some people compare the LA Colors mascara to Thrive Cosmetics tubing mascara.

Exactly, they must realize & aware they are testing lower priced products from a general store, so they might find an affordable hidden gem, or give us an idea not to try out certain products, or options to make them work or even show us ideas we can do to get a good look and how to achieve it. So your right, why do some act like they are shocked with strong smells or quality is not up to par as they intentionally produced the video about lower priced makeup? Then act like they are shocked and appalled by the products! They just wasted both their time & ours if they, the RUclipsr mislead themselves about the makeup they are showing us.
I love high end eyeshadow & ive really enjoyed the Lucky palette for everyday looks. The new Ioni blushes are incredible btw, the packaging is freaking gorgeous (victorian fairy tales style illustration), and the shade happy spells/pink rose is a perfect bright matte, & beauty spell/salmon is basically a coral highlighter (it might be the same exact color as the peach blush but it was very luminous on me) works great with a very light hand. And the sparkleliner looks so much like actual christmas lights, i get so many holiday memories just by applying the green, i even bought back ups in 2 shades.

I picked up a brown LA Colors mascara I was excited to see this at Dollartree you hardly ever see brown mascaras, I also picked up LA Colors pink blush, and I also found the Vaseline cocoa butter skin glow lotion. Originally it was a Walmart trip reference to your last haul for the brown covergirl mascara. I love how it can be simple but cute. I love the Ioni blush must pick up the peach, and I love the IONI Gloss it is good to keep in your purse on the go.
Jas you always make such beautiful makeup looks no matter where you get your makeup from. I love that you used that foundation for liquid contour. I have started using the elf halo glow liquid filter in a few shades darker for liquid contour/bronzer and it makes my skin look so glowy and gorgeous! Better than any high end product I’ve tried. Maybe you can try that out some time. Just a thought 😊 love the drugstore/DT recommendations! Always fun and never disappoints.

I love love loved their Starry Mineral blush, and LA Colors blushes. They are super pigmented and stayed for a long time. Also loved the LA Colors Lip Duo Gloss and lipstick. So good!
Dollar General carries Believe beauty and their mascaras are excellent. Ive tried them all and noticed all are manufactured in Italy, which would explain the quality. From one budget babe to another ❤
The LA Colors cream contour sticks make great eye crayons for a base or in the corner/crease. And depending on the shade of shadow & skintone, sometimes these crayons are great for blending color with a subtle ombre effect, from outer corner to inner. They can also de-shimmer textured areas & just sort of blend into the look. I have all the contour stick options, never use them as intended, but they all get utilized frequently as bases & "fixers".
I have the b pure light medium foundation and the medium dark foundation and I just use the medium as a contour like u did and also b pure has this pretty pink shade blush that’s so pretty u should try and look for 😊😉☺️

I think that you tried all of these perfectly ! At least you clarified which products need help of other “slight better quality” products like how you mixed the foundation is amazing. But out of all products the winged eyeliner definitely gave 10/10 .
Being a girl who’s grown up with not a lot of leisure money, this is definitely something amazing!! I’ve never knocked dollar store quality, some of it is bad, I will say, but some of the items there are real steals!! Used to do my makeup like this all the time. It’s good to think about how far you’ve came.

I honestly love the l.a color matte lips stick it has a matte finish but I’d not dry at all I got a Mocha color for fall and omg I love how it feels they also have some new color liquid eyeliner that are not bad at all

I tried the ioni lashes. I had to go back and get some more styles. Not bad at all.
