I had the great good fortune to write this episode, "Gray-Brown Odyssey" and did so especially for Stephen Caffrey, who I felt was an outstanding actor (and I still do); one who could handle what was basically a two-actor "play". Rosaline Chao was the girl and she was so fine as well. Very proud of this and grateful that someone posted it 24 years later.

Hi! It's one of my favorite episodes. Thank you for writing it and sharing it with the rest of us. This one and the scene where he says that the first thing he saw when he got his sight back was a dead family are my favorites in the episode. Kudos!
Wow! it is one of the finest pieces of cinema ever made......nicely written and well directed and the three characters,Horn,Lt goldman and the VC girl were all equally good.Where can I see more of your work? my email is kr.sparsh@gmail.com
Thank You Production Office ! This Series Holds up today as it did when it first came onto our screens ! There has never since been a better series as far as I’m concerned ! Stephen is an incredible actor then and most likely now ! I miss everyone so much ! God Bless Guys ! Michael In Melbourne Australia !!! ❤️❤️👍. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
These old clips fire up those synapses in the brain that haven't fired in so many years. I LOVED this show as a 13 year old back in '87. It's so cool to see them yet a little bit sad at the same time.
I watched Tour of Duty because of Stephen Caffrey. He is a talented, talented actor and very easy on the eyes :) Tour of Duty was a great show - Stephen Caffrey made it even better!
Although there were many Jewish soldiers that served in Vietnam, as with some of the Christian soldiers, any number of them that survived the experience left that land questioning their faith. Any sane person would given the insanity of being in country with the only goal being survival.
i started watch this show since i was like 12 (it was first aired in 1993 on local TV where i lived)..... i love the relationship between the LT Goldman and the Srge Andersson...kinda have stuff like Mulder-Scully relationship of the X-file (minus romance and touching between 'em..haha)-- and sure, damn i love Mr.Caffrey, good and wonderful act of him..A goodlooking face with dirt--gee, no wonder i got a crush on him then... he should've been big actor

Loved every episode of the show but this one in particular. Why was it called Gray-Brown Odyssey?
Hey buddy, think we could get you back to writing? You wrote when shows had meaning. Things have fallen far since you graced us with your talent.

Terrance Knox was my favorite!
@@richardmcree6992 I loved Sarge too, but Lt was awesome. If I had been in that horrible war I could only hope to be led by guys like them.
I loved Stephen caffrrey then and am still in love with him

The leadership did a lousy job. Lots of South East Asians were very greatful their countries did not end up communist.
A very touching episode. I’m glad to watch it again, thank you.
