The 30-Minute Test Drive Rivian R1S Experience for depositors | SPOILER: IT WENT WELL

For those who are interested. My brother reserved the R1S awhile back and I just tagged along. I don't know much about the vehicle but do drive an EV and love just cars in general, so why not. The car has a lot of neat gimmicks. The culmination of all of these makes it so cool. Not only does it have a lot of party tricks but it's really well thought out. Every inch!

@@JohnNguyenVincent Hello awesome people.. Tank you for sharing your R1S experience can you tell if they will sell any Rivian's across on Europe ?
we love Rivian since the R1T came out but with R1S we just got crazy because both are so cool vehicles.. pickup truck offer bed-utility and few options for tonneau tunnel (storage space between cabin & bed), while SUV offer the modularity of 7 seater both are excellent choices for they 'r class..

waiting for ours.. now end of 2023.. That air compressor noise is something often reviewed as a negative. Must be the weight.. our GLE with air suspension has no issues with noise and vibration.

My Tesla Model is near dead silent. The Rivian is loud. Imagine a tire compressor pump wrapped in a blanket to "dampen" the noise. That's what it sounds like. Is it terrible? No. It's very unrefined but I'm guessing because it function more like a pump and is more "heavy duty".
I was shocked though, I was sitting in the second row to be fair.

Lots of resistance, I have bad wrists on top of that so I had to use two hands.
