i think push 3 comes without batteries. you can upgrade when convenient. add a bigger hard drive and other upgrades etc. (so ive heard). it is better that way as its very expensive. so you upgrade when needed. it does come with its own inbuilt ableton live. you can also switch back to a normal push 3 control for pc and ableton live
You can highlight which part you want to automate and drag the line like you did and it creates the same 90 degree endpoints, and if you want it to be completely gradual just remove one of the nodes after that. It's an old feature.
Your second example for warping wasn't working for me, but I figured out a work around. If your sample doesn't warp properly into Simpler then drag your sample and make a new audio track (like Fearless did in the first example of this video), that sample should auto warp, and then drag that warped audio into a midi track so that you can properly chop up your sample within in Simpler. Make sense? Lol hope this helps somebody because chopping up samples in Session View is my workflow. Thanks for the video man!
Good to know info because i am trying to get off of Serato Sample for Sampling. I like to produce in one program and not have to use too many plug ins. What i wish they did was lazy chop internally without the push 2.
Ya this does a really good job of accurately chopping the samples without having to manually warp and adjust. Serato is great because it can find random chops for you though
@@FearlessBeatzMusic Serato has it’s advantages for sure, it’s great for many things but when it’s buggy and i restart the session, my chops disappear. Also you can’t preview what you’re sampling inside the plug-in.
New update wasn’t great for me.. upon restarting it put Ableton back to default start settings, all plugins and samples, kits and skins gone! Tbf it wasn’t a massive job getting them all back and working again, but not ideal.
Did you have to manually install the update? Because the auto-updates shouldnt have done anything like that. Make sure you put the auto updates setting on so that you never have to do that again
Waiting for novation to release their version of mpe pads. It would be nice to have a small pad to experiment with. Push 3 is trash... it's a push 2 with a 1 hour battery.... The software updates are the nice things.
been a while since i opened ableton, I dont see an upgrade on the website, I just see a full download.... when trying to install I get this message ''the folder you're trying to use already exists'' and it wont install as there is already a live 11 suite at that location.... I'm kinda stuck. Any ideas?
