I agree with that, I think everything a comedian says should be taken with a grain of salt, and also a chill pill! Lol but I also see what he was really saying, which is that even though kevin was joking about actually smashing a doll house over his sons head, his joke implies that he would have been disappointed if his son were to end up gay. And while I think every person has the right to feel their feelings for whatever reasons, I can absolutely say it’s not an appropriate message to put out to the world. It sends the message that being gay is wrong, and disappointing. He may feel that personally for a many number of reasons, but it doesn’t make it a fact, and therefor should not be joked about, IMO.

As Patrice O'Neal pointed out to that moronic always-the-victim feminist lady when discussing a rape joke, no bad rape jokes lead to rape. More to the point, no bad gay jokes lead to gay bashing.
When a comedian tells a joke, it doesn't matter if the joke lands or not, the birth of the joke is from the same place. Trying to make someone laugh.
So unless you can show where he has stated clearly that he's into conversion therapy or whatever else, maybe you should save your over analysis of humor of jokes.
