The reason why the hinokami kagura dance was not so strong is because his sword was broken so it had to create more power to remake the sword so if tanjiro had a full sword then he probably would have been much stronger.

Fun facts:
Even seeing an effect coming of of a breathing style means that the slayer is extremely talented. (Notice how all other demon slayers don’t have an effect)
Usually demon slayers rank up by time rather than skill as not everyone is as talented as the main crew.
Breathing styles are somewhat realistic as it’s based off of using the oxygen flow in your body and using it in a different way.
Having two styles is near impossible unless the styles are similar or have experience using two before. Using two may result in both styles becoming mixed up and confused as your body is so used to one. This actually could cause death because the strain of learning two is immense
Even using one style is excruciatingly hard as your body will have to go through very very intense training. This might take half your life and the show had tanjiro do it in like two years which is pretty unrealistic even for someone as talented as him

1: Gyomei
2: Sanemi
3: Muichiro
4: Obanai
5: Rengoku or Giyuu
6: Rengoku or Giyuu
7: Mitsuri
8: Tengen
9: Shinobu
I think Obanai is 2,3 muichiro would be 4 and rengoku 5 giyuu 6

As for rengoku and giyuu I know rengoku is stronger but people can’t accept that so I put him on the same level as rengoku because people would start crying because there favorite charecter was below rengoku

1) Obanai and Mitsuri didn’t even touch a piece of skin of an UM4. Obanai has no feat to show he’s stronger than Muichirou and Sanemi, dude.
2) Muichirou kill an UM 5 by himself but in the fight against UM 1. Muichirou did worse than Sanemi even though Sanemi didn’t activate the mark at that time.
3) Sanemi can’t compare to any others pillars because without the mark, he still stronger than Muichirou who’s kill UM 5 alone.

😂 I’m not sure about Zenitsu being stronger than Hinokami Kagura Tanjiro even if Zenitsu is my favorite character. In terms of speed prob Zenitsu but strength I think Tanjiros a bit stronger
Zenitsu will clap himokami kagura tanjiro because zenitsu is going to be hitting tanjiro with attacks but tanjiro is way too slow to hit zenitsu

For example zenitsu during the time he used 6 fold definetely cant defeat rui in my opinion (he will just be caged with red string and wont be able to get out of there due to lack of physical strenght) while tanjiro (with the help of nezuko but still) was able to defeat rui (even thought he cut off his own head with strings it was just dumb as he said that his neck is harder than his strings)

Yeah no, if were talking just season 1 and pre slayer mark training; Rengoku is 2nd strongest and can arguably be 3rd since he would be on par with Sanemi. He nearly killed UM3 and was stated by shinobu [in the manga] that it takes atleast 3 hashira level slayers to defeat an upper moon. Also; Akaza stated that Rengoku was near achieving the Transparent World in which |Spoiler Warning| Tanjiro, Obanai, Gyomei, and Muichiro were only able to unlock after they unlocked Slayer Mark; it was also the reason Tanjiro defeats Akaza. If Rengoku was to live an extra 2 years; he would’ve been the first to unlock the Transparent World and without a doubt the Slayer Mark. He was the most hardworking out of the Hashira’s; hence why his death was needed for the plot [to set an image of how strong the UM’s are]. He trained Mitsuri to become a fellow Hashira, even though he himself was self taught. Also that 9th Form Purgatory is shredding any Demon Slayer.
