I think you can see I really pushed it in beating the Drift King's score compared to the NSX's run which was much better in getting scores. Something to keep in mind.

She's only good at trash talking and she's just a ricer inside of a nice car that i bet her sugar daddy paid for. I love how the dialogue doesn't take into account the point chain you're building up. One minute they are concerned about how poor your score it, the next they start freaking out over how good you are.
For all of you saying Need For Speed never been a simulator. I have news for you. Need For Speed started life as a sim/cade game. (Yes. Very much like Forza Horizon.). Road and Tracks The Need For Speed, Need For Speed IV High Stakes, Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed. These NFS games where arcade and sim mixed in one. Let's not forget the Unleashed series. And yes, even Pro Street and Carbon took a shot at that formula. Yes. NFS, was not a strict sim racer. But it wasn't exactly a strict arcade racer either.

I feel like what saved this game is the throwbacks, easter eggs, and references to the previous titles... Everything else, is just... (Name it) I'm surprised that they still making drift events like a solo run instead unlike with say Underground 2 Drift events with some opponents and when you hit the boss/king, you drift alongside them... A missed opportunity to do it here, because it would be one of the highlights, that includes previous and recent modern NFS that have drift events in their list. A total respect to Aki Kimura, he's a humble man and able to accept lose fair and square, without quarrel, question, or hate.
ĒRRØR 114 technically ea and Blackbox did make Noise Bomb or Touge Union in Prostreet with Bushido as influence since Prostreet came out a year after Carbon in 2006 since both Bushido and the Touge Union and the Scorpios a minor crew in Carbon have Tribal Vinyls on their cars
So i boiled down the 'x factor' from watching you. You are in manual and you redline TF outta the car in 4-5 or 3-4 only so while you use nos (multiplyer saver) it doesnt complete fuck you up by over speeding you and make you lose control. Silly me. Though you didn't get as much score as the run with the nsx but i felt with the sil80 the drifting lines look a lot smoother and the run seems a lot faster than with the nsx.
Is anyone else bothered by this crew's style? It's excessively messy and over-the-top colourful. This is NOT how they looked in ProStreet, where the liveries were all very harmonic, detailed and highly stylish, as opposed to the incoherent colourful mess that is this crew in Payback. And don't give me the "they're supposed to be drift missiles", because these liveries are even worse than drift missiles - it looks like they were made by a 13 year old. God, does anyone remember when developers put effort into their games?
Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO 1986 agreed. All the livery designs look so poor! The window decals are so overscaled and the designs are just a clusterfuck of colors (ie. Riot club, league73)
Maybe in prostreet era, they got sponsored by tougeunion or something like that and they must put their specific sponsored livery. But in this payback era, they're just a normal street league and they can put whatever they want on their car. But I agree, the bosses liverys isn't really special anymore in this game. you can just simply make it if you take the time and effort into it, unlike the other nfs bosses that aren't available in the customization unless you got their pink slips.

Maybe it something to do with the drift angle. The run in the NSX has slower cornering speed but the drift angle is a lil bit more from what i see.
