Pretty new to Vamp. This album is on my vinyl list. I only know vampire weekend from Step Brothers intro. This album is really really good. 10/10

Absolutely in love with the new record! Capricorn and Connect and Hope, wow just wow. I like to believe that most any record has ideas, themes, messages, and, of course great freaking music. This album has it all, and how great that Mr. Koenig took the time to unravel each track and share the journey of making Only God Was Above Us. Godspeed to us all!

    This interviewer seems pretty daft…

      Why do you think this?

Well I intentionally said “seems” daft, because that’s how it comes off to me, but I don’t know him. I appreciate the economy of his responses and timing the interview to get Ezra talking most of the time and not interjecting himself into it… but a lot of his responses come across like “hmm ok, well… (asks another simple question)” like not adding anything to the conversation at all

I don’t agree, he asked brief and open questions which managed to get nearly an hour of discussion out of Koenig.
