They are artists and selectors; both have produced. But they're even more than that - F+G are some of the cornerstones of this entire genre. Rider used to play house music in the late 80s in south London. Skip forward a few years and they were both at the forefront of a music yet even to be christened drum and bass. Fabio set up legendary night Speed, paving the way for the likes of LTJ Bukem to push his sound. I went to see these guys at the Southbank Centre; once last year and again a few months back; they played with an orchestra. It was incredible, and the after party the played at was insane. Do some research, it's fasicinating. Peace :)

Why didn’t they just send him home to UK on the next flight back, & give him a ban from the state? 2. If you’re going to a country like Dubai, why wouldn’t you double check every single pocket before you go in? I used to check before I went through security as a teenager, & sometimes I did have bit of Hash left over from the Med, but I would never not check. Imagine his dubplate crate back then, and even his dub folder today. They also mentioned how he got v.i.p service and always pushed to the front of the line at music house when getting dubs pressed. The actual godfather of drum and bass!
I saw that same interview. True godfathers of DnB! I remember back in the day when they had the late night Friday DnB session on Radio 1... we would have a blaze and then close down Maccies with it blasting and skankin away... good times.

My first taste was Dreamscape 1993, had tape cassettes, Yes. Tape cassettes! Tape packs of Fabio and Groove Jungle Mania, Helter Skelter. And 30 year's later their still in the game packing club's!
