- Finally we have access to a proper Trueno hatchback in GTA 5, and you know I HAD to recreate Takumi's AE86 - this is the first of many replica builds that I'll be doing for the Los Santos Tuners DLC, so stay tuned for more content coming VERY soon!

The legend of Tofu Delivery Hachi Roku with up and down headlights has finally arrived in the game.
Yeah I immediately sold my blista compact and replaced it with this.
The blita compact was the closest to the real AE86 untill this car came

i think armor makes the car heavier and slower, i may be wrong but thats why i usually put low armor on my vehicles

I wish they put mudguards options so that we could make it even more like the initial d build. Also, they need to make the headlights carbon when you make the hood carbon.
That's true, there's a lot of little things Rockstar could've done for some of these DLC cars.
@@StevieWunderKid Also, I forget what episode it was, but they ended up upgrading takumi's suspension and it was slightly lower than stock. The suspension option right under stock is more accurate for the project d build.
I cant read the text on Takumi’s car, but the text on the Delivery Boy livery says sutansu andoreasu, which translates to Stance Andreas

For the headlights I think making them yellow is beter because it really adds to it being a initial d car with how yellow there head lights are
Fun fact about livery:
With "Delivery boy" livery, "FUTO" letter on back of car turns into "TOFU".
This shows some backstory of Futo and GTX ver.
*Futo's prototype name was "Drift" , but it made into shorter (Dorifuto -> Futo) when it released.
*Futo is also anagram of "Tofu", which is traditional food and what always Takumi delivering.
*Maybe bacause of old car, really soft(it can be bended easily than other) even tuning "100% armor"
these fact is just a piece of iceberg, there must be more fun fact with this "Japanese soul" car.

If I remember right the accent or trim color affects the headlights. So you can change the headlights to black if u change it from white to black

Tip for everyone if you want to unlock the trade price for this futo:
You unlock a trade price every 5 levels. For example if you reach level 10 but don’t unlock the futo trade price, close the game and start it again and you’ll be back on level 9. Just get to level 10 again and you might unlock the futo. It took me one try.
They should've had carbon covers as an option in the headlight category.
Fun fact in GTA theres a rusted broken down AE86 trueno near the gas station at LITTLE SEOUL/INNOCENCE BLVD

Yeah, they are a bit overkill on some of the tuner cars for sure. The Futo GTX can drift very well with just the power upgrades and stance.

The white hood works better for any version of this car because the crabon hood was the last addition save for the suspension replacement added takumi blew in the end of stage 4

the suspension actually does increase traction so no suspension should help with drifting

You might be haha, I remember a bunch of people came back to this after the drift tuning upgrade dropped back with the Chop Shop DLC.
On original Takumi's car the text means "Fujiwara tofu ten"
It's actually 'Fujiwara Tofu Shop'. I've since found out that the livery in GTA 5 translates to 'Stance Andreas'.

If you go on wheel and you put street wheels and on number 13 they put Fujiwara Custom for the car

I had the old futo in the takumi color scheme and also the blista compact.
Now I have the real deal
@@Ostrid1 I had the blista compact with my Fujiwara crew emblem lol, my og futo was just a drift build

I put the heart exhaust and the heart Tsurikawa to show sum love
For my fellow poor/early players the Dinka Blista Compact looks passably similar and its free
So is the original Futo haha. Would definitely recommend that over the Blista Compact if you're trying to make an accurate build on a budget.
