- Hello, I was lucky enough to play guitar on Forget Me by Lewis Capaldi (check the credits lol). Here's my version. Vocals are not a patch on Lewis', but it's the best I can do 😂

Zero knowledge of this industry but curious, so if you don't mind: I guess Lewis or 1 of the other songwriters composed the music/strumming pattern/chords right? If so, why do they hire an external guitarist to play rather than strumming themselves? Or am I very much mistaken & you are indeed one of the songwriters for this song? (I read the info on Wikipedia & didn't see your name there)
@@EnglishRain Ah thank you so much. I'm not one of the songwriters for the song, but was used by the producers / co-writers (TMS) to play on the session for it. I don't think what I play in this acoustic version of it got used, so it's just another take on it really. Sometimes artists play their own parts on a record, sometimes a session musician gets used - guess I'm lucky that that's the case as get to play on big songs like this from time to time
