do you know how many years I've been wanting to see this scene of Liz reading Karen? Liz put chills down my spine and Karen's reaction was priceless :) thank you for posting,
I agree and no offence to anyone but I feel like Coronation Street is not the same without Liz I know I might offend some people and I’m sorry but still
@@kaysmith8992 Karen was a nasty piece of work and seemed quite loopy at times. Becky was a ‘rough diamond’ and had a tough side but she was an all round good egg 😍🤩
Maggie Jones, Simon Gregson, Beverley Callard, Suranne Jones, four great actors. Blanche you can guarantee will give you a good laugh whenever her character appears. Suranne has gone on to be a great actress appearing as a leading character in several shows. Bev and Simon are two of the best in the business.
Steve was a terrible son and husband most of the time. He would put his own mother out on the street. He wanted to ignore Amy and not claim her to please Karen who was a psycho....Steve sure could pick them....pitiful man....LOL
If you have been brought up on council estate housing you'd have to be gobby to get by, there's no two ways about it but she deserves to feel special on her wedding day, so she went a bit overboard - why not? Liz never liked Karen and she certainly didn't like Becky the only person she got on with was Michelle
Which was ironic considering Michelle was the most horrible of all Steve’s wives, she was genuinely abusive to him a lot of the time yet was always portrayed like she could do no wrong
@@stemple11100 Michelle turned out to have a fiery temper so when she was wronged her temper never came into question it was just how others had upset her
@@alcudiababe1 - About 1990 as soon as Victoria (Vicky) turned 18 and got her million pound inheritance, Steve dumped his live-in girlfriend Fiona the hairdresser and married Vicky for her money. Steve was about 18 then as well. Steve was truly in love with Fiona but Vicky's money was too tempting. Vicky was the grand-daughter of Alex Gilroy who ran The Rovers with Bet Gilroy his wife. It was through his divorce settlement with Vicky that Steve got the money to start his construction company.
Upon reflection, when I first watched this unfold Karen did my head in. Now I feel sorry for her because Steve and Liz did the same to Michelle when Leanne got pregnant. Steve, was petty jealous and led Karen to Joe. Liz was very manipulative here towards Steve and horrible to Karen. Karen should left Steve as soon as she found out Tracy was Amy’s dad.
No she wasn't liz had a right to see her granddaughter as Steve should have been able to see his daughter but Karen made him choose between her and his mam and daughter
I wouldn't let any relationship come between me and my mother no way especially my relationship with my mother steve should stand up to karen because she is control freak karen i agree with liz steve deserve better 🙄
That was one of the best Corrie scenes I've ever come across. Flippin brilliant.

@@nobodyshome4633 that 'they're baby' comment cut Karen deep, sorry for the late reply 😊

Karen might have been tougher physically but Liz literally broke her into pieces verbally there 😂
And rightly so
Great acting from Beverley
Karen Mum has been sent Liz for your business coronation this year is going well
Blanche was absolutely fantastic. Brilliant character x
"So, I'm on the street?"
"Bet that's not a first either"
Blanche..Best character ever ❤
I have always loved Liz's quick comebacks at Karen! Liz was one of my favorite characters on this show. 👍👍🙆🏻♀️🤣😃

Liz absolutely ended Karen's career at the end.
Imagine if it was Karen vs Becky.
Omgggg I'd pay 🤣🤣
Karen was a poor man’s Becky!
@@hastingsgal 100%. Karen was more snobbish and cold-hearted than Becky, but they had similar explosivity.
