- Ther Vancouver Canucks get a huge 6-3 victory over the New York Rangers, Pettersson with 4 points, Miller, Boeser and Hughes all played great! Hoglander with 2 goals, things are looking great for the Canucks who are looking dominant with Thatcher Demko in net.

it's a weird sight tbh, first time beating the devils since 2018, the first time beating the devils at their home since 2013. this team is just shocking me a lot by how good this team is.

Love this team! Interesting how they have only a couple Canadians and several American players including Hughes, Miller, Boeser, Demko, Myers, Garland, Joshua, Lafferty, Poolman, etc. Might be the best way to handle the pressure of a Canadian market.

A fair amount of great Russians and Swedes so yea, they might look at a player like Drouin and worry. Could also be because there was definitely a focus on American University players, with Benning which has even carried over to the new regime. Even Willander made the unusual move to go from Europe to Boston U instead of the SHL. Whatever they are doing, they can go ahead and keep it up.
Maybe the team should be called the Vancouver Americans and not the Canucks.😉

Gotta admit I'm holding my breath for tomorrow's game..optimistically I'll say Canucks 4/Islanders 3.
This team just flipped the script on past teams... usually long Eastern road trips in the middle of winter is where Canuck dreams of making the playoffs die.... good to see them getting points against quality opponents in their own arenas. I thought this road trip would show what the Canucks are really made of, and I was a bit worried when they had a poor performance against St.Louis, but man, the last two games have been great!!!

Canucks beat the Rangers even with what I feel was a Ref favouring the Rangers type game. Canucks did not get a single power play. There were several missed calls on both sides. Could this be a "playoff style game" where things go uncalled so the teams could play?

Something special is happening with this team this year ... my wish for 2 little tweeks is Kuzmenko for Vatrano ( a veteran like this with grit, fantastic work ethic, and defensive awareness would make the 2nd line so much better) and find a solid 4th line C....Aman is just not NHL caliber.
If we fix those 2 weak links this team is super solid!!

I'm not sure what you're watching, but Kuz IS broken...his confidence is completely gone, and a trade would probably be good for his career as well...I agree with Tocchet's assessment on Kuz -- offensive skill but absolutely no work ethic or defensive awareness@@WayneF-vanisl
Not a bad wish list, but I wouldn’t wanna give up on Kuz yet. I still like the player
i like him too...but his defensive awareness and lack of body checking drives me crazy...I've coached hockey for years and I drill that into my players to finish their checks hard...and I just know this drives Tocchet crazy too that Kuz is too soft and doesn't back check enough..Tocchet is trying to set a standard and culture of back checking and Kuz just seems he can't get on board for some reason @@DeanerHD
@@douggarden Ya he is not in good shape, his skating is very labored. He looks very slow to the position he is supposed to be in. He better be putting the work in to catch up or his future is not looking good for the rest of the year. You can't hit somebody if you don't get there on time. He is learning his lessons this year for sure.
All this just to lose to Winnipeg in the playoffs 😉
