Finally one of the finest Staley format is back. RUclips content how it should: raw and real. No advertisement, no algorithm pleasing guidelines. Just adventure and art. 👍👏👏
Appreciate this
Incredible atmospheric pictures! Great place to shoot. So much to be found by your M6 eye. Love the caravan. Also like the 'Heisenberg on a day off' vibe ...
🙏🏼🙏🏼
The desert lends itself particularly well to black and white photography.
Agree
The last four images are powerful, especially when viewed alongside the rest of the series in order like this! I have never seen a flock of birds that large just hanging out on a power line. Excellent storytelling!
Really appreciate this
Ben, looks/feels like the end of days of a lost world. The buzzy, ethereal soundtracks, lost shoes, broken objects and endless electrical transmission towers fit into the signs of time. Thanks for putting this together.
Really appreciate this San. Thank you.
Excellent video and very inspirational, gotta love our California deserts!
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow, this was SO good. Has such an apocalyptic vibe. The images by themselves are really good, but so much better in the way you presented them - Great story telling
Thank you so much!
Another stellar set.
Gracias
The desolation of Smaug is what come to my mind when I see those BW images from the desert. Fancy editing of the video. Well done.
I'll take it!
A big fan of this style and content. Thanks!
Thank ya. Lots more in the archives...
This is the kind of photography videos I liked
Lots more of these in the archives
Love these vids Ben. Images are great, format of sequences with pics and video are great and editing is fantastic! So inspiring to go shoot in random places for a few hours. Thanks for inspiring!
Thank ya
The amount of work that’s gone into this video is 🧑🍳💋! Big thanks for this one! Inspired to go create something 📸
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Story telling, awesome!
🙏🏼🙏🏼
love your art !
Thank ya
Enjoyed this, the video has a real vibe to it, I sort of got lost in the moment, went with the flow...
Perfect. Thank you.
One of your best vids to date.
thank ya
Besides great vid and lovely red filter BnW film photography , I loved the soundtrack, especially the first part with that haunting violin snare …
Curious about the music and also what film you used.
You should do more of these. ( well I mean, not ‘should’ but rather i ‘d like to see more, you can drink your coffee )
Thank you very much. The music comes from Track Club (link in description) and they are awesome. The film is Ilford XP2.
There are quite a few vids like this of you scroll through the archives. You can look in the analog playlist if you want.
Appreciate you watching.
Interesting photos, a reminder of what we are doing to our environment. Enjoying your videos.
Thank you very much.
Nice work and video!
Thank ya
❤ really interesting techniques, you made this simple walk captivating in many special ways. really impressive ben. zen billings
Thank you sir
grrreat. All thumbs up.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Lovely hypnotically calm video with great soundtrack and captures. Liked the super imposed self edits in some shots too. Do you process and scan your own film?
Thank you. I have Richards process the film and I do the scans.
Maybe you’ve covered this before but how do you convert your film to digital for RUclips/Insta etc. Do the distinct film characteristics migrate reasonably well through that process?
I have a lab develop the film (Richards, a top lab is right down the street from me) and I scan the negs at home with my V600.
Tolle S/W-Aufnahmen und kunstvolle Überblendungen.
Gruß XARE
Thank you sir
A fkin masterpiece. Thats all im going to say.
🙏🏼🙏🏼

Beautiful images, but I kept wondering if you were looking for a place to pee. lol
Most of the time I was. But I didn’t film it.
I think it would be cool if you did a quick rundown of your audio workflow for some of your videos. Thanks for this one.
Copy. What would you like to know about specifically?
@@adventureStaley What mics and positioning you use for field recording and how your post process it all would be a cool start.
Got it. I do very little 😎 but I’ll think about this. Thanks for watching.
Hey! Did you use filters? Thanks
Red filter on the photos and a variable ND and promist on the video
@@adventureStaley Red filter it is.. Well done sir! Thanks for the reply, that's kind.
Getting a Fallout New Vegas vibe.
Cant wait to watch that series
Much to consider and appreciate here. Desert junk? Or treasure? The music was a bit un-nerving. I kept waiting for the orchestra to tune up.
🙏🏼 we like it weird
Hey is that Walter White ?
wow never heard that before...
