    Chris Gilette told all of us fans, to watch your channel. He saidis very...VERY ENTERTAINING! And boy was he right. You are a perfect example of how to treat, train and take care of and LOVE smart birds! Apollo is the most intelligent African Gray parrot I've ever had the pleasure to watch. You have such an amazing family! I appreciate you sharing your feather-babies with the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!❤❤

    You should totally put a bunch of objects Apollo knows on the big table, hide a pistash in one of them, and tell Apollo which it is.
    I bet that would be a fun exercise for him.

    I've been meaning to say this, the frame drops might be your camera. I've heard a fair few cameras drop significantly in framerate due to heat from higher resolutions. I think this tracks with how long it takes for it to begin and its persistence thereafter.

    is there a way to take Apollo for a flight outside ? Have you guys considered it.

    • @sempersolus5511
      @sempersolus5511 Месяц назад +8

      He can't free-fly because he will get lost or hurt.
      There was a video where they tried putting him in a harness and taking him outside, but he _really_ didn't like the harness.
      They take him outside in a cage tho, so he can get sun and air, and not be afraid of things.

      @@sempersolus5511 thanks! I recently saw a video of a macaw where the owners take the bird out for a flight. So was wondering if that's possible with Apollo as well :)

      @@grkrthka the guy that delivers the bread at my work always has his cockatiel with him. When they arrive and he starts to unload his truck the bird just flies around a bit and when it's time to leave he calls him a few times and he comes flying back to the truck.

      They do get to be birds. They have very enriched lives and they’re all happy birds. If they were unhappy, they wouldn’t look as healthy as they do and they wouldn’t be willing to learn with Dalton and Tori.

    Love your birds.
    Truly hate your presentation and the way you treat your birds.
    It feels like a commercial endeavor, not a happy home.
    The girl, especially, seems bored, snarky and not grateful at all when people send you money…just for being there.
    Too bad.
    I really like the birds.

      I don't like the accusatory wording of this comment but i still want to inform you that "the girl" (adult woman) has a name, Tori, and she's autistic. Maybe consider that when you interpret her tone to be "bored, snarky and ungrateful". As a fellow autistic person i have always read her as playful and kind by interpreting her actions instead of her tone of voice.

    • @DingusBingus-7a9
      @DingusBingus-7a9 Месяц назад +8

      You're the same commenter that said she's "self-involved" in the previous livestream for her suspecting she has autism. Now you're tone-policing by calling her "bored" and "snarky" not by anything she actually says, but how she says it.
      My brother in Christ, a flat affect is a known symptom of autism.
