- Dale Steyn was the former fast bowler of South African team and he had the ability to swing the ball in or out with the new ball. he was most skillful bowler in the history of South African team.
here in this video there are some of his killing bouncers and some outswing deliveries . in this match he also completed 300th test wicket while playing against New Zealand team.

That's an exaggeration. Steyn was neither as accurate as McGrath nor fast like Lee/Akthar or swung like Akram. He had a great situational awareness and good cricketing brain with control on his length/line. He's comparable to the likes of Malcom Marshal.

Correction - More than 5 years...he went down because he got injured...when he cameback in 2016...once again regained his top spot after nicking Warner behind on 97. That's the only innings of Warner in test cricket where he got out in the 90s

test condition is same as in past.
i think in india 6-7 years ago conditions were more favourable to bat on (may be batsmen technique was better those days) but now pitches are having more turn or we can say that 90% matches in india nowadays are played in very difficult turning piches.
Gone are the days when india or other teams used to manage 600-700 in indian condition,now getting 200 in indian pitches in test matches is very difficult.
In other countries there is not much difference may be batting become slighter easier in Australia,SA and WI as pitches have become somewhat slower than past.But in England and NZ pitches are same as compared to past.
I totally agreed,overall their is not much difference in test match pitches.
Old is gold but that doesnt means new generation is not good.

My favourite after glenn mc grath. When it comes to records he is amazing. 125 odi and 375 wickets. It is almost three wickets in every match. He is a complete bowler pace plus swing plus accuracy. A complete package.
196 wickets, he scored 365 runs in odis, but I get your point. While excellent in odis, he was even better in tests, especially in the morning sessions.
He would have easily taken 600 wickets in test cricket if he had played more...G.O.A.T of all time...
