I used to work at Tom Walkinshaw Racing. R. I. P Absolute legend. When I first heard these cats in the workshop come to life. Just undescribable. Sadly didn't get the opportunity to goto Lemans to witness them dominate. I was 16 at the time and was doing temporary work before my college course started after I left school. I just did a couple of weeks in the group C workshop as their cleaner. Best work experience I ever had. 😎👍
It's a shame we couldn't see them in Le Mans! Have you ever seen them drive? They are amazing race cars, the Jaguar XJR8/9 and 12 are probably my favourite Group C!

I wished I knew back in the 90's how special this era truly was. Not to throw shade on current racing but it seems the mid to late 90's was the sweet spot of technology and historical lineage
I didn't live through that era either, but the 80's are for many the pinnacle of motorsport where we had Group B in rallying, the most powerful F1 cars in history and Group C
