I love potatoes in any form, and love kielbasa, so this looks easy and delicious. I would definitely add green peppers, too. Keep up the Sunday Recipes!
This looks delicious, Sue! I have made a different Sausage skillet in the past that uses cabbage instead of potatoes; we loved that one. I will be trying this one as who doesn't love potatoes? .
Thank you Barbara. I have not yet set up an Amazon Store. I might tackle that this week. But in the meantime, here is a very similar peeler to the one that I use. Mine is a Kitchen Aid peeler. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZLF6WZZ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B07ZLF6WZZ&linkCode=as2&tag=seniorciti081-20&linkId=64d83ac329872c0d3c7a732dfea2a099
@@SeniorCitizenSue you could also stretch this out with cabbage, which is cheaper than green pepper. Dice some cabbage and fry it with the kielbasa before adding the potatoes.
Hey Sue! I just saw this video! It looks delicious! Can the green pepper be replaced with celery? My husband doesn’t like green pepper. Thanks for your advice!
Hi Kathy! I would say to completely omit the green pepper and do not add the celery. The celery would give it a very different flavor. I have made this dish without the green pepper and it tastes just fine.
Looks good, but it is way too clean. If it does not look dirty then you need more pepper. Sure would like to have a plate full right now. I could add the dirty look.
@@luizazbrog571 I believe you are correct. Hillshire Farms calls it Polska Kielbasa. However, when I lived in Minnesota, I remember the polish sausage looked quite different from the Hillshire Farm kielbasa.
This is possibly the worst recipe that i have used off youtube. I followed the recipe religiously. Th potatoes ended up very mushy. I think using 1/2 cup of water was just too much. I ended up trashing it all after trying to eat some of eat. So disappoionted at using my time and the expense of the ingredients.
Very Midwestern.. I make the same thing.. I add noodles instead of potatoes.. and I always add cabbage.. It’s very filling❤️👍
Cabbage and noodles sound good. I think I will try that!
Thanks, this brings back memories as my mom used to make this when i was a child yummy
You are welcome! 😎

Thank you so much Betsy! Potatoes are one of my favorites too!!
Looks yummy! Side note: I’ve gone to goodwill before and purchased a lid to fit my skillet….they had many different sizes (measure before)…😃 TFS!
That is a good idea. I think I will check out Goodwill for a lid. Thank you!
one of my favs, just like mom used to make
This is one of my favorites too. It is easy to make and has great flavor. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for speeding all the vegetable chopping I make this quite often and enjoy it. I add a little cabbage and carrots
Adding cabbage and carrots is a good idea! Thanks for watching!
Such a good meal! Thank you so much. We love it!!❤️🥰
@@Phoebesmom1 You are most welcome! I am glad that you and your family enjoyed it!
Looks great. For us, I would remove the rind (hubbys preference) add sliced carrots & drizzle with a mustard creamed horseradish mix.
I like your ideas. Thanks Karen! 😎
Very nice🙏❤️👍
@@brianscharsch9767 thank you! 😎
That looks good Sue. I will have to try this recipe soon.
I love this recipe. I make it often!

Yummmmm😊

This would be good for camping
I agree. It is quick and easy. Thanks for watching, Lisa!
Great idea putting the foil on the pan
Thank you!
Hi Sue, Who makes your potato peeler? Mine doesn't work so well and I would love a recommendation.
The potato peeler is made by Kitchen Aid. I wash it by hand and don't put it in the dishwasher.
Love your videos. You mentioned your potato peeler and I wondered if you have an Amazon store - I have never found a potato peeler I like.

Celery or cabbage instead of peppers is good. And slicing the potatoes into rounds.
Thanks for the great tips! I definitely want to try cabbage in this recipe.
If you have nice skins, you can salt them and crisp them up in the oven for a delicious snack!
That is a great idea . Thank you!

That looks so yummy! Good call on leaving out the bell pepper! 🤢🤮
Thanks! This dish has a really great flavor.

It's pretty tasty, even if it is clean. 😁
My pants have been a wee bit tight lately also lol
The holidays will do that. 😂
Rice, never put any rice down your disposal. Actually, don't put anything other than dish water down your disposal.
Very true Pablo! I have paid for a plumber too many times. Egg shells and vegetable peelings are bad too!
They need to change the name. It is not a garbage disposal
No sauerkraut?😢
Sauerkraut would be a good idea! 👍
This is not polish kielbasa. I don't know why people buy it thinking it's polish which is not true
