@@enji6460 i completely agree with your perspective!! this song feels so bittersweet to me, especially with the parts like "no matter where you are, an unchanging song for you. because i am singing an eternal promise" in la mort story, it was revealed that ritsu longs for an unchanging relationship that would last eternally. he and rei once promised to stay together forever but rei broke that promise, which is the reason ritsu acts like hes given up on eternity, because hes afraid of being abandoned again. yet in this song ritsu expresses himself freely, saying its okay if rei is far away, he just doesnt want their bond to change and deep down he still yearns for that eternal connection. and the "because i am singing a melody that brings us together.." when they were little they got separated in the snow and found each other by singing the same song. the same melody brought them back together in the la mort story too. they are reunited through singing. i love these brothers a lot yet they make me so so sad
Daiki Yamashita is indeed that good. You should listen to his other singing in other franchise. He's also in Tsukino Production as Ryota Sakuraba, a member of GROWTH which songs are kind of like the male version of Yuki Kajiura's Kalafina.
