Yeah right lol. WG doesn’t give a rats ass. I get chat banned for a week for saying the word “shit” and these assholes get a week ban for blatant cheating.
@@faderberg7615 WG bad reputation mostly comes from the toxic player base not themselves they do ban people I've heard many instances on both wot PC and blitz

Maybe 1 out of 200? Then the rng and mm is trash. The MM is so broken cause of people spamming premium and statpadding. And the rng is so unealistic sometimes that i makes me go bald....
If you, arguably the greatest promotor of WOT and a liaison between the community and WOT, cannot get the cheaters perma-banned then the rest of us do not have a prayer.
This is not new !! It happens all the time, every single day and for going on years!! Wargaming know about it but they do nothing because they just want players, doesn't matter if they are cheaters. You really notice it at low peak hours. Content creators just promote the game without putting any pressure on wargaming what-so-ever. Except for now... They should be perma banned.
@@amzarnacht6710 The reason that "Quickbaby" didn't publicly expose them in the video was for Legal Reasons. He did however forward the players to Wargaming and let them handle it. Wargaming has the responsibility to dealing with cheating players.
@@southtexasprepper1837 Legal bullshittery. When I played I used to report players all the time and I'd see them daily for *months* and even years doing the exact same shit every single time. I even sent in video proof of their behavior and nothing was ever done. WG doesn't care - as long as they get their money they'll let assholes be assholes endlessly.
Quickybaby, I fully understand on how you feel about cheating that occurs. Quite frankly, I think that the punishment should be more severe and that ALL Accounts that were involved in this should be PERMANENTLY BANNED from "World of Tanks." Being "banned for a week" is more of an inconvenience rather than teaching them a lesson.
@@imlazyt I agree. I don't currently play "World of Tanks" or "World of Warships" (I'm currently looking for a second job to save up for a Desktop PC), but I watch both "Quickbaby" and "The Mighty Jingles" for the videos. Hopefully in the future, I'll be able to see about solving this problem.
A week? One week? The effect of their cheating on Marks alone lasts longer than the punishment. Unreal. Good catch Quicky, and this (or variations of this) is probably more widespread than any of us can imagine. The anemic punishment only encourages this behavior, frankly.
im guessing they are going with the 2 strike system, 1 week and warning. If it continues, and enough people report them again, the second time they get perma banned. Guess we gotta watch out for suspicious platoons from now on.
typical WG, ban for a measly week for big time matchmaker rigging. I've reported some players over and over again for some really egregious things. Wg always tells me they will dish out appropriate punishment but can't share with me what they would do because of privacy laws. But apparently, they aren't doing shit because those same players kept appearing in my games. WG are such hypocrites. All they care about is if a player spends money. If the whole community doesn't come together to force their hands, they won't do jackshit.
I can't believe Wargaming gave him that answer cause they always tell me they can't discuss what was done to any player, but please know appropriate action will be taken. Guess if you are a CC then the same rules don't apply.
Crazy that they could destroy enjoyment in 30 games, they destryoed 360 players enjoyment that day with giving them pretty much 0% chance to win that game. And they get a week? Gj wg on screwing up again
this behaviour going on for years does not make it less an "unsportsman behavoiur". if you find out it happening "once" for the involved people it is bad. seeing this in a continueed series of about 30 battles for the leopard and the stats on the other acounts show some "regular" behaviour ... and i can easily guess the leopard was not driven by his owner but the owner paid lots of money to maybe finally get the obj279e
Just watched one of Klaus's video's where he shows something possibly ever worse, everyone is right, it would not be hard to detect such tactics being used and at at a guess, I would suggest it's "companies" offering to get you a 279e or similar in 30 days that control so many accounts, that if they play at relatively quiet server times, the chances of the player they are "boosting" ending up against one of their platoons, is quite high.
Actually, those companies are surprisingly legit, at least the main ones. Still definitely bannable to use their services, but they don’t rig to my knowledge. I know this because they offer players who buy their services the option to save replay files as proof that the company providing the service didn’t do anything to jeopardize the account. The companies that run those services just have legitimately very good players who have tons of experience doing their jobs.
@@jdjsjejsjejwnw1348 REally? Not true at all. Watch Klaus's update on the matter. They blatantly let their account play for 300-450 matches with like 0 damage done. That means they let their account be used (or do it themselves) where they join match at same time, and then just stay inactive. That is insane, and sadly true. Go check it out!
@@SmurfKenny The one Claus showed is NOT the status quo for boosting companies, again at least not the major ones. I know this for absolute certainty because the boosting sites that I’ve seen give the option to have replays recorded and sent to the customer after the service is complete to prove they were done legitimately. The type of cheating you see in Claus’s video is extremely easy to catch and just gets accounts banned. Claus just lies and makes it out to be a much bigger deal than it is because it gets him views, as is usual with his channel.

What can I say, I'm part of this clan but I am extremely disappointed. I discovered that the players in the video were doing this yesterday and I didn't really know what to say. But I'm kinda glad Karma struck. Thanks for speaking up for the community QB! Also, if anybody is curious as to why this happened: Somebody paid our clan leader for a boost through the campaign missions. Regardless of why it happened, it's unacceptable and nobody should do it. At least I got a good reason to leave the clan, lol
You left the clan and allowed it to continue. Did you call out the clan leader? Did you call out the douchebags in whatever clan chat you use? If not, you are just as guilty.
I was wondering the other day how red players were getting 6 to 9k damage. Was wondering why there was suddenly players doing silly amounts of damage while 14 other players couldn't get anywhere near that damage amount. In the back of my mind I thought something was fishy but never thought this was going on. Sickening. One week ban, that makes one very disappointed with WG.
Wow, I had that exact same heavy tank platoon in my team yesterday in one of my battles. In Paris map they drove against building walls in the spawn area and stood there until destroyed and we lost the match. I can't remember any clearly suspicious actions from the enemies.
@@Herodu0003 wg won't do anything.. chems and his friends were doing this for years and he was even doing vids from these matches and it took yrs for wg to bann him finally.. and now he is still palying but on another account and he is doing the same thing.. just watch his recent vid
I once reported something like that to WG, 3 players doing no damage at all and being AFK the whole game. Wg told me it was maybe because of a connection bug or something... They didn't get banned.
I can't really speak for those 3 but back in the day I had a shitty ISP. I could load into WOT battle and play no problem, but the second I pressed a button for VoIP (back then it was mumble) the modem would disconnect and my tank would continue to do whatever it was doing. One match when I reconnected my tank was on the other side of the map. The other team must have felt bad because they didn't even shoot me.
having an afk player in a battle is a bad thing esp when it is a top tier. never the less it may happen. there is a video on youtube where a tank single handly wipes out the entire enemy team being afk, so it is not a new video. rigging gets more obvious when it is a platoon. a platoon is the guarantee you join together a battle. if you ever tried joining a battle with a specific player you will find out it is not happening all time when you desire it. even when you manage to do it you may end up in same team. ask some stream snipers on this toppic :-)
I have seen quite a few platoons that only purpose is to lose, I check thier stats like QB did and you can see from the impossibly low win rates that they are there just to ruin other peoples games.
What an eye opener this was. As a "vanilla" player I have always accepted that some cheating occurs and noted school holidays tends to see a marked increase; but this is something else. I have played other FPS games that ban cheats (via IP & MAC addresses) immediately NO warning given, instant ban, and "In game moderators" can "kick" players mid-battle if dodgy play is noted, and they then get banned. As Claus Kellerman says in his video on this subject; "Wargaming can stop this if they really set their mind to it". This will be something I will watch for. Thanks for the clear "heads up".
Quickie - Check Claus's comments on your video. He went even deeper into this incident. That clan (all four are from the same clan) counted in 30 times in a single session and it appears that 30 times the platoon ended up on one team and the Leo landed on the other team. And in all 30 games the platoon did exactly the same thing. Never fired a shot, had a WIN 8 of exactly zero and lost 95% of their games while the Leo did the opposite. The bigger question is how did they manipulate the game so that they never landed on the same team and always landed in the same game? I've counted in many times on the NA server with its much smaller player base and it came out to one in five-ish times some, but not all, of my clan mates would land in the same game as me and about 50-50 on the same team. I've never seen counting in this accurate or anything close to it. WOT needs to take a very close look at this far beyond a simple one game counting in cheat by a clan. How often does this clan do this and how many battles have they screwed up? I tried to look at the clan on WOT Labs but the WOT API is still not working so the stats aren't there. THe clan is there but the API shows no stats and no players other than the clan commander's name.
This shit is happening on Russian and Chinese servers for almost 8 years. There is limit of t10 tanks in one battle. So if in the same queue it will be full party of t10 and 3x randoms on t10 tanks, there is 100% guaranteed that party will be against randoms. So you just need to play in most non-prime time, on less populated server. To be in one discord channel and press "To Battle" button in same time by 1-2-3. That's all. Why it is happens now on EU. Because of situation on Ukraine Wargaming is moving their main business from Belarus-Russia to other countries. And they are given possibility to change game servers for almost all post-Soviet countries. So a lot of Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvians, Estonians, Belarusian (almost all of them are from the same community. WOT is very popular on post-soviet region. They know a lot of glitches and shitty things.) are moving to EU servers now. It is PLAGUE. You will not be able to do anything. Because this war with cheaters already lost on RU region. Wargaming is making game not for you or not for good players. They are making game for "Podpivkovichi (It is the word characterizing such type of players like stupid biomass "I am playing just for fun, drinking beer, watching russian propaganda, I am happy to be drunk and stupid"). They are buying premium tanks, paying for such leveling to make their "Stat" more beautiful. Best thing you can do - don't touch this shit. I mean whole this game, and everything wargaming make. Sorry for my English.
@@lamborghinireventon3800 You are absolutely correct. I have no idea whether WG will take any action on my Ticket - probably not. But at least I gave them the heads up with links to QB and Claus' videos. Thank you for the reply.
@Wahoo Dza Your english is awesome, I loved reading this. Thank you for calling out why this is happening. I knew this kind of stuff was common in Chinese games, but I didnt know it happens in the post soviet bloc countries as well. It almost makes me wish wargaming would maintain those servers just to keep those players separate, despite the Ukraine situation. Also, it was enjoyable to learn some Russian slang, their terminology is so imaginative.
I really used to love this game I started playing about a year after it was released. Over the years I belonged to several clans. This practice was pretty common and I left a couple different clans because of it. I seldom play anymore and I’m not surprised this is still going on. A weeks punishment is a joke. Their accounts should be wiped and make them go through the appeal process to get them back. Good catch QB.
Ive played so long I played before it even released, worked for wargaming and etc, and I cant play it anymore as the tech tree has gone a way im not happy with and the cheaters have gotten like infinitely worse.
@@pilsplease7561 that's a main reason (the tech tree) why i stopped play that game continuously. if you not pay, you progress will be so deem slow that it is nightmare. Now i play just some times just for fun but cheaters ruin even that good game.
@@family_adventure23 I have so many premium tanks i have money out the wazoo so i can progress then again i have one of the oldest accounts ever to exist in the game so I get tons of freebies and badges every year lol
This cheat has been around since the beginning, but running 4 accounts to get a mastery badge is a sign they need to get out more and have a life. Whenever you see a tank idle on the spawn, you have to ask who is running it. Sometimes the cheater ends up with all their tanks on the same team.
I'm on the US server, and I wish this video had come out a couple of weeks ago. I was in a number of battles shortly after the Italian TDs came out where apparently-good players, with win rates over 50% and tens of thousands of games, somehow did zero damage and basically accomplished nothing, and our side ended up losing badly. Had I seen this video at the time, I would have at least pulled out my replay file and checked to see what happened, rather than simply assuming just a bad bout of RNG.
They won't. They don't give a shit. All wg does is to influence their income. Will banning players give them money ? Nope. So they won't be working on it
@@pcl89 They always told me that but 2 days ago they explicitly told me they confirmed the violation and took action against the player I reported. I was very suprised.
Though I have a couple WoT accounts, I've been playing Blitz the past few months. Occasionally, on either team, there will be a player who has never left their spawning point or has moved about half way between spawning point and the actual battle site. Without moving or firing a shot, they are able to get points for spotting, blocking and ram damage if someone on the opposite team rammed and took damage. The inactive tank will get enough points to place third from the bottom. After watching this video, I'm going to keep track of these inactive players to see if there are any repeats and which clan they belong to. Great video. Thank you for publishing it.
Why has QB gone silent on this when Klaus has continued to expose the boosting companies ? Who is giving these boosting companies access to the old accounts ?
Have seen leos and stbs shooting over and over without any tanks spotted in their firing direction and end up with tons of damage. I always wondered how they were doing it. Thanks QB for showing us
@oscar Graeme cheats are pretty much irrelevant in this game. A good player will always outperform a cheater in the long run. Cheats are mainly an excuse for bad players why they are loosing
@@randysmith9841 how is it curcular logic. The amount of games you will play that are effected by cheaters negatively are minor and also the advantages cheats give are small compared to just playing better. Therfore cheats are not a big factor in this game. That's why the only ones crying about cheaters all the time are bad players. I watched the video after commenting btw and I do see that rigging is a bigger problem than cheating but it's still minor and easy to tell from someone's account if they are doing it. So it's acctually still the same logic.
Not with WG's idea of "zero tolerance". These cheaters will get a slap on the wrist .... nothing more. WG doesn't care .... it's only about money and only money.
Was watching QB live when this happened. So stoked that QB took this in depth reporting approach, to concisely present the presence of organized cheating for Marks in our game.
Boosting happens in probably every multiplayer game out there, though, I've really only noticed it in CoD. Guy with Tactical Insertion or similar skill sits in corner while another player on the opposite team sits with them, killing them after they respawn. Helps them get nukes or boosts their stats for gun camos.
After watching this on Twitch live yesterday, I was stunned. QB puts as much time and effort into this game as anyone, and to see his effort wasted because of cheating got me upset. A week ban is not nearly enough. These players should straight up lose their accounts.
Been playing longer than most and have never encountered such blatant cheating, so that’s good news about the game in general. But my experience of reporting players for unsportsmanlike conduct is the worst. WoT spends more time questioning the reporting party than banning the offenders. After several tries I gave up entirely.
I have been on the other side sadly. I got reported for pushing someone out. I got a ban for it and contacted their Support. That position specifically no one ever stops (open field) and I thought the player would keep rushing the position just further as I was driving at the same speed a couple meters directly behind him. I argued a lot with Support, but my 1 week ban stayed. I don't think it's bad if they do their own research and question enough. I got reported quite lot of times for cheating because I outplayed the other without gold spam but just knowlegde of the game. Glad I never got a ban for just playing the game.
I been playing this game from 2011, been in lot of clans and this is usual tactic for grinding missions, create a couple of same tier platoons, count from 3 to 0 and press battle at same time, and if u are playing in morning when is lower number if players active u end in same battels
Years ago I used to be competitive in game and was a "blue" player. However in the last few years I encounter this stat padding garbage in game "A LOT" and I seem to be lucky enough to land on the AFK platoon team often. There is always some platoon that will sit in bushes with their rear armor facing the enemy. I've submitted this to war gaming and all they ever say is "we will look into it but we cant share any detail of out findings". If you check back in the next few days, weeks, month, the account(s) are still active and doing the same trash. WG doesn't seem to care this is happening in game. Not only that, but these same platoons use these techniques to complete missions for other players. For example they accept payments so that they can get you the 279e and stuff like that. Again, crickets from WG. I've played this game since its release, so I'm not writing this as someone who is butt hurt or crying about stats. I don't play for stats and really I don't play WOT as much as I once did because of stuff like this. Thanks QB for the video... Clause Kellerman has also exposed some of this going on but like I said, this has been happening for a while now and its driving away some of the player base. Maybe with exposure coming from bigger CC's - Wg will actually take it serious; apparently the voice of the little players means nothing. 07
While I have stopped really watching QB, when he does things like this I commend him for it. Using his influence in this way is absolutely necessary and great work by him.
I can say from own experience, contacting WG Support for cases of unfair conduct is pointless, well maybe not if you are a well known streamer, but in my cases it resulted in a automated standard response thats all.
You also probably aren't providing a detailed analysis of gameplay and account behavior over time contrasted to recent history for 4 to 6 accounts, with your replays and replays of team mates showing obvious gratuitous abuses. I'm not saying that being QB doesn't help very taken seriously, but let's be real here. He isn't showing up with a relay and just saying, "I think these guys are bots. Lol how badly they did." That's what most of us regular people do when we make similar reports.
@@sternencolonel7328 Yeah pushing off a cliff is highly malicious, you're right, but honestly, if you're going to day to people, "Hey look at these rules breakers. Here is the rule they broke, punish them," it *is* your job to play private detective if you want to get a result of of it. Also, no need to be be an unprovoked dick. I'm wasn't attacking you. We all know full well that a normal report doesn't come with this level of analysis.
Problem is, imo, they got lots of false positives and its not easy to distinguish between 'crybabies' reporting everything and everyone, and true valid reports. They can have dozens, if not hundreds of reports every day and reviewing each of them is time consuming. Alot. Imagine that player at beginning was reporting arty for cheating, but somewhat forgot to mention he dropped the tree(which was really stupid). You still have to go, download and review demo, see obvious reason and then close it. Thats at least 5 to 10 minutes of wasted time. More complex report like those guys can take hours, if not days to gather all data. I dont blame WG for working slow, but they should be more open about it. Like periodical public reports. It does help if players see its hapenning, instead of wall of silence..
@@cyphi474 agree. Every few months when I played Eve Online CCP used to publish the names of all the banned accounts. Yeah sure, you never defeat the bots, but it's still nice to see the effort being made.
Why does WG need anymore evidence? Permanently banning those accounts should be a easy route of action. There are too many players rigging games in order to achieve some mark or daily mission or campaign objectives. How often do we see lights go on suicidal spotting runs at beginning of game when we have no arty? Done merely because they have an objective to meet, so tank suicides and team then blind. WG encourages players not to win randoms, through all the missions and objectives. WG should change the game, so only marks/objectives/missions are only met when your team wins. Players would focus on the win rather than the objectives. Too often you see top tier players setting the team up to fail so they can then farm maximum damage at the back of the map. Game needs to change.
Thanks to Claus finding another uploaded game by this group showing off their high dmg in another tanks, what QB didn't point out is that all 4 accounts are in the same clan. Different people behind each account or the same? Claus also used a stat site to find the highest dmg games uploaded in each tank on each server and review the details of each game to see that either there was often a disconnection immobilizing nearly all of the opposing players leaving an entire game full of tanks to crush by those lucky tanks not to suffer a disconnection on their other side. After you get past those disconnection games you can see low scoring platoons are present in many of the high dmg examples and see they never took shots or moved, etc as evidence of this kind of cheating that QB discovered. The biggest question then becomes the sheer consistency of being able to join the same game with the your rigged platoon on the other side in a single day. This is the biggest concern expressed by Claus K on NA. Is there special software modifications required to time the precision to allow for so many games to have the rigged platoon on the opposite side (not your own side) to explain this clan being able to do this over the course of a single day. Also why not punish the clan as a whole? Often times this level of cheating is organized and sanctioned by the clan. There is a lot of pressure to make your clan look the best they can to attract better players etc. Seems like when you see all 4 players are part of the same clan then it seems more reasonable to suggest that its not just a cheater player issue, its a cheating clan issue and punish the group as well as the players. This might incent clan organizers to warn their players never to cheat or risk the entire clan's progress be suspended/banned.
it's the same with Clan wars.. top rated players getting banned (many from same clan) if there is over 3 top ranked players caught cheating the whole clan should be punished in clan wars.... not just the ones caught.. as their cheating falsely boosted their clans rank and other clan members as well.
It's not due to precision but volume . When you have 30 players running multiple accounts at the same time , the accounts that get into the required match or matches are then played ,the ones that don't go afk for the game .you only need one player playing the booster tank while 30 other players can play multiple accounts at once as they only have to drive 10 feet and stop ,then communicate where they are to the booster
@@PhilDurham What are you talking about.. 30 players with 30 alt accounts.. It's not even close to that. It's about 4 to 10 players all looking to hit queue at the same time. If it works it works. It's never that organized. Mostly an after or before CW thing.
The three "tributes" all get in a platoon together so they will always be on the same team. All you need to do then is synchronize the Leo's game to theirs, which is probably quite possible if you are running a virtual box or similar, since the system timer would be exactly the same. My "guess", having worked in IT, is set some auto-clicker program to go off at a specific time and the virtual box gets pulled in as well. As it's the same machine, it would give you a very high chance of registering within a ms or two of each other.
I had this once. Saw a guy firing at a random spot. I was in my jg pz e100 and my curiousity got the better of me. I shot in the same spot and killed an is-7. I reported 6 people in that platoon who were all around that position. They deserve a 1 month ban. Or permanent ban, you dont want this in your game.
On top of that, The Obj. 140 was a goldspammer + Because of Leopard 1 people who are trying to do those "be top 1 in dmg or deal 20% of team damage" missions, they won't succeed..
Dear QB; Thank you for making a video. I would like to see an interview between you and a spokesperson from WG. Because a week ban for something like this is unacceptable. I would also like to point out that you being able to spot this, based on data that is readily available for everyone, should also make WG able to write a program to investigate these instances pro-actively. Because apparently they do not this and thus cannot claim that they do everything within their power to stop cheating. Just my thoughts :)
True, anyone can have a great game here and there but you dont get close to triple your WN8 in a series of battles Stats like those should bring an immediate review
@@kpsmith67 i little bit remember from one video that discussed about bots mod. first people just had mod that would press battle and then these tanks just sat in the game until win or dead. wg placed a system that detects tanks that drive 0 km. then people made mod that would drive and die most of the time. so wg put a system that detects tanks that don't shoot any shots at all. so by that video there should be already such system in the game. imo wg just dont want to ban people cause then they would lose players that maybe would give them money. you can tell that by wg just giving ONE week of ban. like this is just a joke.
This is very common in clans, especially clans trying to get their friends a tank like the 279e, very frustrating seeing them get away with it because of how much goes on in a battle, hard to keep track of four people cheating out of a 30 person game
0:45 Its an automated "balance system". I´ve rarely seen it applied to the mainstream streamers and youtubers like you (even though there were some few examples) but when it comes to small streamers that almost noone watches (i.e. regular players), or regular players like me or my friends, this feature is almost omnipresent. And when it turns on, it sometimes mean a whole battle filled with incredible luck when I hit several blind shots, several snap shots, I bounce incredible hits, or no one can spot me, or every side shot just detracks. But more often than that it causes incredible battles where stuff like penetrating ISU with a Strv S1 becomes absolutely impossible, with 2 misses and 8 bounces out of 10 shots. Or Tiger 1 penetrating all hits into my Strv despite the fact that it should autobounce. Basically, the most basic game rules gets turned off, and Russian number generator gets cranked up to eleven. I doubt that they actually employ some poor b_tard that would turn this on and off for tens of thousands of players. Its much more likely to be an algorythm set up for players that meet certain conditions.
At first I was rather skeptical and was thinking "ah comon, let those friends do their mission stuff, it's already hard enough in recent meta"... but doing this consistantly over 30 battle is clearly not for missions anymore, so 100% rightful to call them cheaters or rather destroying the game experience.
@@belamiklos3399 I think that's totally fine and within the range of expectable things to happen, when WG has missions like that in the game. But luckily you would need to bounce 9k only once... this scenario here with 30 games and more is clearly above what regular "help with missions" would result in.
Imo mission-rigging is way more acceptable than stat-rigging. The way I see it mission-rigging tries to keep the influence on the battle to a minimum (for example by going to a mainly unused part of the map, also most of the times winning doesn't matter for the mission so the 'teams' often balance their damage to achieve more in less battles) while stat-rigging has (as shown in the video) often major influence on the battle
@@grafzauberer6867 mission rigging is not acceptable, I can argue that is even worst, because missions will never change and the plebs can't ever get the rewards tanks.
Oh my god, man, i played frontline yesterday, what I saw there is terrible. This game turned into frustration..they simply shot to perfection, 9 out of 10 shots were with penetration, and they did it while driving..I'm waiting for steel aces to come out, let's see how is this game ..
WG doesn't seem to care about cheaters. When one of WG's top CC's catches four cheaters, makes a video of them on RUclips, personally reports them to war gaming, and wargaming bans the cheaters for a week. BS!!! So you know when the average Joe reports cheaters nothing gets done. But thank you QB and rock on man.
Thanks QB. This is my 11th year and im a poor enough player, but I really try hard to support my team. This has blown my mind. Now I am eyes wide open. Thanks to you mate! Well done!
Ir would be great to know how these players managed to be matched in the same battle. Iknow it’s easier at really late night but not so easy when QB was playing.
Precisely, that’s pretty suspicious by it’s self. Given their stats, they are clearly hacking the game to ensure they constantly get in the same game on opposite teams.
Exactly. Just watched Claus Kellerman's video where he discussed this video, he gave props to QB and he brought up that exact question. As he said, there's something more going on here than even the cheating we can see. Just exactly how were they getting into the same battle, on opposite teams, SO OFTEN?
If you play in platoons of 3 with similar vehicle types like 2 heavy and 1 medium and you both hit the battle button at the same exact time its actually really possible that you get to play against each other almost every battle even when the server is crowded, its not gonna happen every game but it does happen quit often, i know this because me and my friends do this sometimes cause we like to play against eachother and compete to see which platoon manages to beat the other, so its not that suspicious that these guys managed to play against each other that many times,
Great presentation QB. Its good for all gamers that play WOT that you are on the case. War gaming needs to protect their game and take firm action on this. Thumbs Up!
Hello QB, I've seen cheating far worse than this on the console version of the game. Where both teams farmed each other and cornered me and a few other players against houses to farm us. I sent it to wargaming support and they handled it very fast and were super nice.
This reminds me of the many reasons that made me stop playing. Even WoWs I played more and more while quitting WoT, but eventually me liking tanks and warships didn't compensate for the lack of quality from WG to maintain the gameplay and player pool in a healthy competitive situation.
Quickbaby, thank you for making this video. I have seen bizarre situations like this myself and always suspected something was amiss. Thank you also for investigating it so precisely and for taking it up with Wargaming. I am sure you'll get the standard response that we all do and so things will continue. It's a shame as their systems should be able to detect these anomalies for further investigation but I guess it's just not worth their while.
Similarly happened to me when the enemy arty was communicating with an arty on my team, probably using a video stream of the battle. I was only able to tell because our 2 other artillery were blind killed at the beginning and the only artillery not killed was his friend who didn't fire a single shot. Also the enemy arty was blind firing my team no matter where they were. Of course I saved the replay and sent a ticket to WG.
I've seen this many times where there is a stream sniper and they do this in an arty to get fantastic damage. Because it is indirect fire, it's almost impossible to prove, but also completely obvious as nobody's RNG is that good. Like 2 shots out of nowhere hit our arty way out of render range. Lucky guesses or...?
I was like 6...7 years ago playing arty with my friend physically at same room and we end up to opposite teams. Hahaha, first we helped each other to kill everyone else by looking each other screens - and luckily managed to do it !!! Then we just drove to middle to meet and dance together, everyone were furious but we did laugh our asses off, I have still somewhere a video I made from the battle :) it was a "once in a lifetime event" :)
Respect for calling them out. Like, getting 3 marks on a leo 1 is one of the most difficult things you can do in this game. And just because he is willing to open his wallet to get bragging rights, he is ruining someone's legit attempt at it. What a shame.
Sadly, this is one of the reasons I quit WOT years ago. I wasn't a good enough player to be in tiers VIII-X, so I stuck with tier VI and lower where I was a bit more comfortable. Unfortunately, even at lower tiers, there were too many instances where (whether cheating was involved or not) there'd be a single player or 3 man platoon that would steamroll my entire team 0-15, leaving even my most experienced teammates with a 0 damage, 2 min. game. I was also on the winning team in these instances as well, earning next to nothing anyway, despite the overwhelming victory. Win or lose, I was getting nowhere. Maybe I'm just unlucky, I don't know, but this happened in my games A LOT, so I quit cold turkey to focus on other stuff instead of getting frustrated like this on the daily. Sad to see this is still a problem after so many years away, so I'm glad I got out when I did.
Here via Claus Kellerman's recommendation. Good work QB. The opinion in the comments on his response/musings, is that it'll be worse than you may be suggesting ie a great many platoons "boosting" stats for other players in a session. He also looked at quite a few of the "highest damage" games and they all appear either rigged or possible only because the game "broke", so skewing the numbers even further for legit MoE players.
Very interesting that the players in the feeder platoon are still playing (albeit still bad), the players in the farming platoon (with the Leopard1) don`t exist anymore or have changed their nickname. Although ppl tend to change to something similar and I couldn`t find anything in their respective clans. So maybe this video and others from Kellerman helped. Hope so!
A few weeks ago, I’ve started playing WoTB again after a 3 year break. I can call myself a very above average “good” player, but the amount of utter noobs is just insane and the play style looks very bot-ish to me. Seeing this happening in WoT started me thinking.
Happened to me many times. When I said there are cheaters... Well... Nobody believed me. Also spotted cheater on Twitch channel - will not say his name - in live... auto aiming, auto shooting, aimbotting. During the live he shot a bush and killed a tank without seeing it... Unfortunately, WG not shown too much interest when I found some cheaters and gave them evidences. They stated: "Please keep in mind that we do not manually punish players using forbidden modifications, our automatic system is taking care of this." So, until the automatic system is not picking them up, we have no luck...
tbh when i started out wot i never knew the showing tanks module mod was considered a hack lol thankfully i didnt put high tier stuff and learned my lesson quick
It wasn't considered a hack. It just ruins the look of the game. Also, not zones are easy to remember anyway since almost all tracks share similar module locations.
@@nomar5spaulding oh? i didn't know that. i thought the fact that i cant get into a game means thats its an illegal mod. or atleast its categorised as a hack
@@johnnyted446 Maybe they changed their minds on it, but it never used to be an illegal mod. I never used it but I've known plenty of people who did. It was always controversial as hell. Personally I think mods that remove foliage are worse...
At 7:20 you say, it's not Wargaming that's doing the rigging, it's the players. Are you so naïve to believe that? Wargaming has access to all the statistics. They can EASILY see what tanks are doing 0 damage with 0 shots taken over and over again, game after game. They could EASILY identify players with tanks being used for farming. Wargaming knows exactly what is going on and they allow it. No idea why but if you follow the money, my guess is that they are getting paid by the stat-boosting companies.
*concentrates* I believe I can predict the response from WG... "Thank you for contacting Wargaming Player Support. We are sorry that you have to meet such players. We understand how frustrating this situation can be. With the information you have provided us, we took appropriate measures according to our Game Rules and punishment instructions. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose the exact measures we took due to the protection of data privacy. We appreciate your understanding. However, we assure you that violations of the Game Rules are met with appropriate sanctions. We wish you a great day and good luck on the battlefield. If there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us again. "
This kind of crap, has been going on for years. I have been hit, when not even spotted, telling me that someone on my side was helping the other side. But, as far as the game being rigged, it is. I may play 30 games, lose 3/4ths of them, just because I am stuck with weaker players. Normally, it's not even close. Most of these people have no clue about tactics. But, I can do more damage than anyone, have more kills, but cannot win because of all the weak players on my team.
Happens to me on a regular basis. I once lost 12 in a row in a vehicle I was excellent in. Was top 5 on my team in most of the battles but only 3 of them were even close.
tbh they might be real players being farmed as i saw a player called marybanks from the clan rebrn and he/she WOT stats are ' amazing ' and a must see. most bots are more useful
Would like to see a video from you on the other forms of cheating such as illegal mods. I know WG says they catch these but I know a few players who have them and use them so I have to call into question WG's claim on that front.
If you know of players that cheat, and you have not reported them, your just as much of the problem as they are. Put your man panties on and report them. Otherwise your just condoning what they are doing.
QB, you're missing one possibility here. There are people who offer their services in getting Obj 279e for real money and this is how they do that as well. I doubt it's about MoE.
I was also feel angry when i was watching the stream. Similarly, i have faced some cases that some players intentionally push me down the hill. However, there is nothing been done by wargaming after i have reported the players in the system you mentioned. Is the reporting system useful? I dont think so.
Probably all 6 players are from same clan. They comunicate under TS/discord..... Nothing new. They are resolving missions, or pumping up wn8 or chasing 3rd marks of excellence.
I've already submitted several Physics Abuse reports and always checked the reported player on wot-life and always saw at least a week long ban. In one case, the player was either banned forever or just stopped playing as there was no activity since then. So from my perspective, this system works. It's just too bad that you have to go to the support page and can't do it directly from the game.
5 or 6 years ago everyone did this. When missions for special vehicles appeared, t-28 or t-55a, can't really remember. Several missions were really hard and they used to que together and hope to get into opposing teams. I participated in several of these " shame battles". 2 of us were in platoon and other friend, who needed his mission done was alone. I remember that there was a mission to destroy 2 SPGs with a single shell while you fight in your SPG. My friend and I stood together in a bush and knocked fence around until our friend "saw" us and fired. in 2 battles, one of spgs survived and mission failed. In third battle, he managed to destroy us, but lost and mission failed... Victory was one of the conditions.
Is7, 277 and e100 are players that quit the game and left their account info to other clan members so such rigging and stat padding by active clan members.
Seen your reaction live on twitch yesterday QB, ooofff those guys....I personally find the support should split the punishments, permanently ban the 0-Damage Platoon, and for the boosted players....reset their progress back to fresh, all research gone, all crews gone and all tanks gone.
you can load multi games at once from one pc, and start all of them at same time and get lucky in Q to get into same battle, and rig all by yourself very simple to do, just have to have the luck of getting in same battle and on different sides
I've said for years that there should be an option NOT to have platoons in random battles. Even if there's no cheating going on, platoons unfairly skew the likely outcome of the game. For example a platoon of 3 tomatoes vs one of 3 unicums. In that example youve effectively given the enemy team a huge advantage (the 3 enemy unicums + 2 of the friendly tomatoes, since the 3rd tomato wouldve been in the battle anyway as a solo player)

I know many players call other players / teammates "bots" but this is something I seriously didn't expect nor have ever seen in WoT in 3 years of play
This is not new !! It happens all the time, every single day and for going on years!! Wargaming know about it but they do nothing because they just want players, doesn't matter if they are cheaters. Your dedication to this game is great to see. Just played WoT again after a leave for more than a year. Mainly to play my few favorite tanks.
I agree: permban, all of them: 6 players
Account banning? How about IP banning too...

A week?
I have seen guys who do this for 1000s of games and never get caught, they eventually got bored and had to turn themselves in, it’s sad.
Should ban those cheaters permanantly good job QB!
Thanks QB for being our voice, well done lad, well done.
This has been happening for years. Many years ago when I played regularly I submitted many replays with this exact behaviour.
this behaviour going on for years does not make it less an "unsportsman behavoiur". if you find out it happening "once" for the involved people it is bad. seeing this in a continueed series of about 30 battles for the leopard and the stats on the other acounts show some "regular" behaviour ... and i can easily guess the leopard was not driven by his owner but the owner paid lots of money to maybe finally get the obj279e
And it happens alot in other games as well..."Boosting" has always been a thing and its hard to figure out than say wall hacks etc.
Claus Kellerman leans against QBs door tapping his toe... "what took you so long!"
Just watched one of Klaus's video's where he shows something possibly ever worse, everyone is right, it would not be hard to detect such tactics being used and at at a guess, I would suggest it's "companies" offering to get you a 279e or similar in 30 days that control so many accounts, that if they play at relatively quiet server times, the chances of the player they are "boosting" ending up against one of their platoons, is quite high.
watch the vid of Klaus where he adds to this QB vid
3 players afk is much different than literally hand feeding damage to a specific person. There genuinely could be a connection issue.
having an afk player in a battle is a bad thing esp when it is a top tier. never the less it may happen. there is a video on youtube where a tank single handly wipes out the entire enemy team being afk, so it is not a new video. rigging gets more obvious when it is a platoon. a platoon is the guarantee you join together a battle. if you ever tried joining a battle with a specific player you will find out it is not happening all time when you desire it. even when you manage to do it you may end up in same team. ask some stream snipers on this toppic :-)
@@TehShadowDeath how much spotting dmg did you get? :P

4:27 the names of all tanks are unblurred!
You gotta name and shame these cheaters. For anyone that wants to know, Claus Kellerman names them all in a video he did today.
His Video was based on an upload they did themselves - MouzAkrobat showed that video already a couple of months ago.
4:27
claus that racist pos should be derped in real life
This happens so frequently, I have learned to i.d the dummy tanks on my team almost immediately.
After watching this on Twitch live yesterday, I was stunned. QB puts as much time and effort into this game as anyone, and to see his effort wasted because of cheating got me upset. A week ban is not nearly enough. These players should straight up lose their accounts.
A week ban is a sad joke.
There is so many players who use direction mods etc, i see these many times in one play sessions. Very unfair amd counts as cheating.
@@Chillr3nd The direction from where you're being hit isn't a mod, it's vanilla. I am not using a single mod.
its more likely you did encounter something like this, but you just didnt notice it
I been playing this game from 2011, been in lot of clans and this is usual tactic for grinding missions, create a couple of same tier platoons, count from 3 to 0 and press battle at same time, and if u are playing in morning when is lower number if players active u end in same battels
@@nomar5spaulding 1. It's not my f'ing job to play private detective. 2. My cases where obvious malicious, ( pushing of a Cliff)
You don't have to have your alt account in the clan to use it like that. In fact that is more likely.
140 was a goldspammer
+ Because of Leopard 1 people who are trying to do those "be top 1 in dmg or deal 20% of team damage" missions, they won't succeed..
True, anyone can have a great game here and there but you dont get close to triple your WN8 in a series of battles
Stats like those should bring an immediate review
@@maumor2 Good point. A script by WG to recognize this pattern would not be that hard.
@@kpsmith67 sadly "WG" and "would not be that hard" dont belong in the same sentence

But in the end... it doesn't even matter 😂
@@rocket2739 lol
Problem is WG won't do anything about it even if you report it. They litterally reward cheating and this type of behavior.
This is very common in clans, especially clans trying to get their friends a tank like the 279e, very frustrating seeing them get away with it because of how much goes on in a battle, hard to keep track of four people cheating out of a 30 person game
you can see all the names at 4:27 XD
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even if it was one time for a mission it's incredibly scummy. You can't defend this kind of rigging.
Could be for missions - one where you need to get 3 Aces in 20 games, or something like that.
Good job QB, appreciate your time and efforts.
Well done!
Thank you QB for opening our eyes ! I will be checking all my games from now on !
@@raygoble274 1 guy with 4 laptops? Probably from one of those websites which do missions or marks for money?
I think that there must be many more. Not only 1 platoon of people who let him farm. Maybe up to 30 players. He will most likely get one team
Thumbs Up!
I only wish this was the most troublesome thing I had to worry about in my life.
Hello QB, I've seen cheating far worse than this on the console version of the game. Where both teams farmed each other and cornered me and a few other players against houses to farm us. I sent it to wargaming support and they handled it very fast and were super nice.
Not that the console version is what you cover but this kind of cheating happens I guess.
Yaay doing his part
Of course I saved the replay and sent a ticket to WG.
and of course wg did nothing about it
I've seen this many times where there is a stream sniper and they do this in an arty to get fantastic damage.
The issue here is elsewhere..in the matchmaking, which is non existent if we take out this “template” system..
90% of games it’s either 15-3 or 3-15..
You quit playing ... but... but .. you are watching WoT videos !!! LOL !!! sad .. sad .. .sad person !

Happened to me many times. When I said there are cheaters... Well... Nobody believed me. Also spotted cheater on Twitch channel - will not say his name - in live... auto aiming, auto shooting, aimbotting. During the live he shot a bush and killed a tank without seeing it... No idea why but if you follow the money, my guess is that they are getting paid by the stat-boosting companies.

this is just one other reason i have quit playing WoT

Most clans do this to boost player stats and missions for obj260 and others, some clans will help any players to do missions for gold gifts.
