I am glad I paid my attention to aka guys again. This video took me a lot of time (more than a month, but I made a few short videos to get a rest from it during that time). It doesn't really look this way maybe, but it was pain in the ass. oO I am not into this style. It's too fast for a lazy editor like me, but yeah, I did my very best. :) Also I love this song. ;)

My only complaints are the lack of Konan, Kisame, Zetsu and Nagato.

edit: yeah, back in the day it was a bit more obvious. Especially since 3 second pause delays was a thing (or whatever they were that the creator could pause the frames automatically for a second or two so you could read things), it felt a lot more like proper credits. Man those were the days. The weird but somehow really likable youtube days, how I miss them

i hated them at first, but it completely dissapeared after seeing each one of them's sad past, they can be considered heroes cuz they really wanted peace n love to flow between shinobi's, no greed,no more clans fighting other clans for dominance, but they did it the wrong way, bcos by using massive genjutsu to control ppl's mind, you are not helping them that way but instead means you are forcing them to do something against their will, but i cant blame them tho, their painful past made them lost hope in everything in the world they lived in. they remind me of Light yagami of Death Note!

If all the Akatsuki were reanimated by Orochimaru Madara would've been completely destroyed 1000 times over and that'll be with just Itachi and Deidara if Pain and Itachi joined over 75'000 shinobi would still be alive and the war would've lasted around umm about 6 minutes
I don't get why so many people here seem to consider the Akatsuki HEROES. They REALLY aren't, they're antagonists, and for damn good reasons. Sasori was a shell of a human being who considered people nothing more than a resource to make more Puppets and had no problems with murdering his own grandmother. Deidara was a crazy artist with a explosion obsession who just wanted to blow stuff up for fun and showing off his art. Kakuzu is a greedy murderer who'd casually murder some random and innocent family on the street if you paid him enough. And Hidan? The guy is a homicidal maniac who literally got aroused from torturing people to death with his Jutsu. Hell, even the more sympathetic ones were vicious antagonists. Nagato had no reservations about wiping out a whole Hidden Village, including the innocent civilian population. Konan? She HELPED him to do exactly that. Kisame was a bloodthirsty killer who had no problems trying to cut off Naruto's arms and legs when they first met. Itachi was an extremist who was willing to backstab and manipulate pretty much everyone around him, even horribly traumatizing his little brother, all because of his silly notion of the greater good. They aren't heroes, they're antagonists who MORE than earned the label.
Well.....I love Hidan because just imagine man....an IMMORTAL psychopath running around screaming hahahahaha. Itachi wasn't really a bad person because he did all those things for a reason
Apart from being a homicidal religious fanatic devoted to a god which literally demands that his followers kill everyone around them
But Akatsuki members are still shinobi; they're the same as other people in hidden villages. They work for their own goals, money, and try to survive in the harsh environment. It's just what, for example, Konoha ninja does. They have to kill people because of their village, and sometimes, even innocent people who need to be eliminated. Itachi had to assassinate his whole clan full of innocent just because his village wanted him to do so. His whole life was ruined by the council of elders and he had to be declared as a missing-nin. He killed everyone, but he couldn't bring himself to harm Sasuke. He loved him very much, and he didn't want his little brother to go on the dark path like he did. He didn't want him to kill people, and he wanted to keep his innocence. The reason why Itachi pushed Sasuke to get strong enough until he managed to beat him, was because Itachi wanted him to become strong enough to protect himself. Yes, if he managed to kill Itachi, that meant he was very powerful and therefore, Madara wouldn't harm him. See? These dark things go on in the villages as well, not only in Akatsuki. It's the way of shinobi life. For me, Akatsuki members are heroes in their own way. Naruto is not your typical "good and evil" story. Shinobi both have evil and kindness in their hearts.
Not your typical good and evil story? Don't make me laugh, they handled the moral ambiguity about as well as Akame ga Kill. It was so blatantly black and white in most places that they may as well have animated it in nothing but those colors. Maybe Itachi isn't so straightforward, I'm not denying that, I'm saying he's a damned idiot for handling his attempt to push Sasuke so poorly. His little brother's sanity and goals went all over the place because Itachi had so little understanding of him that his idea of a nudge was sticking him through a deeply traumatizing casting of Tsukuyomi. And if the other Akatsuki members like Kakuzu, Deidara, Hidan, and Sasori were supposed to be morally complex, he should've MADE them morally complex instead of just making a bunch of extra antagonists who went around killing people for (in order) money, art, lolz, and adding people to his little puppet collection. And the rest of them? If they were supposed to be morally grey in any way, why were they handled so poorly in most cases? Because I'm pretty sure nuking a village full of THOUSANDS of innocent civilians without remorse is supposed to be a horrible thing no matter someone's little excuse for how screwed up they are.
I wouldn't say they're completely black. More of a dark-gray, really. Their redeeming qualities are far out-numbered by their bad, homicidal qualities.
