  • In this video, I talk about the AKG Y600NC that I have had for a month.
As of now, I can not recommend these headphones because their frame broke.
Crafted with AKG reference sound and active Noise-Cancelling, the AKG Y600NC Wireless Over-Ear Headphones allow you to escape into your music and access your most creative headspace. The AKG Y600NC keeps you focused and creative in the noisiest environments with Ambient Aware for total environmental perception and TalkThru, letting you chat with your friends while keeping your headphones on. The AKG Y600NC Wireless Over-Ear Headphones provide up to 25 hours of inspired listening with Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancellation turned on. With Play/Pause automation, your music pauses when the headphones are taken off and then starts it again when placed back on your head, so that your inspiration keeps flowing. Should you have an incoming call, the dual-mic echo canceling mode activates to provide natural and crystal-clear communications.

Great honest review. Watched the whole series of your Y600NC review and really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.

This just happened to mine and I fixed it with super-bonder and sodium bicarbonate - and black acrylic paint for aesthetics. But the power on-off switch has been broken for months and both Samsung and AKG have literally 0 repair offers. I can't recommend anything Harman releases.

Just curious, why did you call it sodium bicarbonate instead of baking soda? 😂, also what does it do to the hinge?

Same thing happened to mine, too
    But after like 6 months

so you dropped them and cracked them, then stretched them which finished the job.

Sounds like they are SUPER fragile, 1 drop or mishandling and they are done..
It appears that the weight of the earcups is the issue: too heavy for the headband..
However for $60, not a lot of options for decent budget headphones... Even soundcore/jbl starts at $80/90
