I feel like this show was key to the transfer of generations. The comedians of the 90s and 00s really got this show going, and then after Russell and Frankie left, that's when the current crop of stars began popping up and making their mark

Honestly, it's kinda sad that, out of the classic line up who left the show, Frankie was the only one to actually acknowledge the show and wish them a good final show on twitter. Andy at least doesn't use twitter, but you'd think Russell, given that he would never have gotten as big as he is without MTW, would have at least given them a shout out on his show 😕
First classic joke was *always* going to be a Frankie quip! I'm not sure if it was reality, but you really get the sense in the "classic years' with Andy, Frankie, Hugh and Russell, that they all got on really well. They seemed to bounce off each other in the best way possible
Unfortunately Frankie sold out. He's no longer funny and just says what he's supposed to - the equivalent of US late night talk show hosts, giving a sermon and people applaud because they agree. Nothing funny actually said. At least we'll always have the old stuff... at least until it gets removed for wrongthink.

I totally rely on satirical comedy, and youtube commentators, to tell me what's going on. Can't rely on the mainstream news in any form. I really appreciate contributors like Ovid for both informing and amusing me. It takes a bit of the pain away.

I must admit, rewatching these older clips is almost impossible. The amount of talking over each other and interrupting for rubbish jokes is insane. The second half of the show's run was so, so much better.

Gina Yashere didn't really say much ever, Her comedy improved greatly when she moved to the states, Before that she wasn't very funny.
Need to bring back a hour long Christmas special with all of the original regulars and no FILTERS.
