A petty, vengeful teenager uses gaslighting and mental manipulation to seduce a girl just so he can reject her out of spite for something she did to him a decade ago, which he's worked very hard to overcome. As one reviewer put it, the best revenge is living well, not this guy's approach. It's basically just a poor man's Kaguya-sama, much like Classroom of the Elite is a poor man's Kaguya-sama or Oregairu.

No one expected this to get a second season considering how long this anime came out I mean this was 4 or 5 years ago .I know the manga ended but most people didn’t like where it went and I saw read it 2 weeks ago and I can see why
