    Thoughts on titanium lug nuts? I hear different materials may not match well with eachother and may cause issues.
    Also, do ARP studs generally weigh more or less than stock?

    If you don't have a hydraulic press use an impact socket to go over the stud and press in with a vice

    I just got a set of your FM Kogeki wheels for my NC2, and the FM lug nuts. I know you guys designed the 5 x 114.3 Kogeki specifically for the NC Miata. Does this mean you don't need hubcentric rings for them? I looked, and you don't offer them for the NC Miata in your website.

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  3 года назад

      The hubcentric rings are really there just to help with mounting the wheel/tire properly to the face of the hub. You don't really need them with these wheels, and we actually recommend NOT to use hub centric rings if you track the car. Feel free to reach out via phone 970-464-5600 or email (support@flyinmiata.com) if you have any other questions! :)

    Do you know when you'll get the 19mm size Flyin' Miata non-marring lug nut sockets back in stock? I'm looking at ordering the Kogeki 15x7 flow formed wheels along with the Flyin' Miata aluminum lug nuts along with the 19mm Flyin' Miata non-marring lug nut socket, but it looks like the only Flyin' Miata non-marring lug nut socket size you have available to select at the moment are the 21mm size yet there is no "Out Of Stock" flag for the 19mm size. I'm sure I'll order the wheels and lug nuts regardless, but since my 95 NA is my only car at the moment, I'm looking to avoid disappointment for something so trivial. My apologies if this question sounds trivial.

      Sorry for the delays! I'm afraid we don't have a solid ETA to share for the next restock just yet. If you haven't already done so, you can sign up to be notified when they come back in stock by clicking the "Notify when available" link below the product title in the product description.

    @Flyn' Miata, ND LUG NUT thread size is 12 x 1.5, I think someone mentioned this already.

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  3 года назад

      Correct. ALL MIATAS use 12x1.5 lug nuts. We apologize for the mistake and have added a note to the description to clarify. Thanks!

    What if your wheel is smaller than the hub on the car? is there a ring for that?

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  3 года назад

      You'd have to increase the bore size in the wheel.

      @@FlyinMiataVideo i did this to fit my 96 thunderbird wheels and tires 215/70r15 on my 2012 kia soul 19565r15 and i drilled out the lugs and the bore.. but on the last wheel i suppose i got impatient, and didnt make an even circle. this resulted in a medium to large vibration at 75-85 mph xD
      i guess i have to bore out more and then use spacer, making sure its centered better haha

    How about using some never seize with steel lug nuts?

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  4 года назад +2

      The potential problem with that is that it can cause you to undertorque your nuts due to the lubrication from the anti-sieze.

    • @blackrifle6736
      @blackrifle6736 Год назад

      @@FlyinMiataVideo *Mike: You meant to say "OVER-torque your lug nuts due to the lubrication from the anti-seize". Also, Tommy spelled it correctly as "i" before "e" rule does not apply here. Cheers!*
