In my city triumph work shop they used castrol power 1 ultimate for my first service i have done about 7300 kms on my speed do u recommend to change oil nd castrol or motul?

Hi bro, I recently switched to Castrol 10w50 Super bike Engine oil in my speed 400. Now i can feel the difference. The Hp Oil is of no use, felt like water when it was drained. Now the bike feels more Vibe free & Heats Less. Dear folks Save your engine by using any other OIL brands other than stock.

A very timely video. My Speed 400 now has 297 miles on it and I am considering what oil to use for the first oil change. Not many full synthetic 10W50 oils are available, but I was considering Motul 10W50 as my previous limited experience with this brand has been good. I very likely will be using Motul as this video has confirmed it would be an excellent choice. Thanks.....
Hi, go with Motul 7100, 10w50, it is economical and very good quality. Using it for last 3000 kms and very happy with it.Will continue with this or Castrol Power1, which is available at the service center now, it was not there previously. If your service center has Castrol Power1 then go with it and change at 5000 kms use.

Thanks for watching the video and encouraging words !! Oil filter is same as KTM's Pulsars NS/RS and dominar And O rings i didnt find required to be replaced. If required take those rings to a local shop having parts of Bajaj you will definelty find something

Guess i will have to get the tools to do it myself atleast they wont know if i use liquimoly or anyother of the same colour. 😁

Hi Shiv, 1st if your motorcycle is close to 4k-5k kms go to serivce centre and ask them to check the quality of the engine oil. If they agree to change it they will only pour HP prolube which will again going to last for only 4k-5k kms. 2nd if you can convince them to put Motul and they agree then it is well and good 3rd option reach out to local mechanic (or you can reach out to Klam bhai i mentioned in the video) And get your oil changed to Motul 7100 or Motul 300v2 as per your wish But this 3rd option will Void your warranty but you will enjoy riding your motorcycle with better engine oil. Choice is yours
Yes, once i get good KM's range from 300v2 next i will check 7100 as well. Fingers crossed as of now because the main test of engine oil is going to be now as in Delhi the temp will going to hit 45-46 celcius

@@sahilmurmu5535 2 things 1. Checking the engine oil level 2. Checking the quality of engine oil 1. Start your bike for few minutes on ideal, and shut it. Keep the bike straight ask someone to check on the righ side bottom of engine. There will be small cricular glass to check the level of engine oil. There will be maxium and minimum level mark as well 2. Open the engine oil pouring cap. On the cap itself there will be engine oil, take a small drop on your fingers and check the thickness. If it is too black and thin then replacement is required
Heating issue is so far because of ECU update which Triumph rolled out in Feb. I dont think engine oil results in Heating. Go to nearest service centre and ask them reverse the last ECU update

@@roadrunner2757 ah was asking because I got my oil changed recently to the Motul 300v2. The mechanic told me it's 2.5L capacity for the bike and not 2 and showed me a Google result and I went with it. Looks like I've made a big blunder.

@@2wheeledcompanion the good thing about Motul 7100 is even you ride little rough evaporation level is less. Fully Synthetics doesnt evaporate like Mineral ones. So dont worry until your engine is running without issue Motul will not going to drain much
My speed 400 HP oil was quikly evaprated after 6000km only 600ml left in engine showroom guys was shocked while they drained engine oil. I don't know what was the issue. Shall I go for motul.

you can actually use the 300v2 in speed 400 as it is a high compression engine so that high viscosity helps! but yeah I would suggest to go for motul 7100 or castrol power1 ultimate if you are not going to do high performance racing where engine is constantly at high rev range in which case 300v2 is tha baap of all.
Visit the Service centre ask them to check for any ECU update is there or any other issue in bike. Also record your riding and check how you are using Clutch. Sometimes riding style also affects the mileage
How should we ride to get good milage in speed 400. I'm also getting same milage around 22 kmpl. Also what about the heating issue. The tank is getting heated up lower tank portion and sides this happened after the update. Please reply to this msg.@@roadrunner2757

Yes, definetly go for it, my 5k KM's on Motul 300v2 is good so far
After 300v2 i will try Motul 7100 which have more life compared to 300v2

I use Motul 7100 & it's superb as always..
They're using it in ktm's as well. But guess what ktm does not claim stupid interval of 16000kms

I was not facing engine heat issue yet. So change in engine oil has not changed anything.
