    I believe your model at 9:00 is BCC - body centered cubic not FCC.

    can someone explain why an octahedral interstitial site has 6 faces?
    i had thought it was that being interstitial the two faces i regard as missing are there as to be passed through. why then is a tetrahedral interstitial named as such, with 4 faces
