You have to keep in mind this is a job for him. Unlike fans who watch and rewatch the seasons, he films them and moves on, and likely has other projects he's working on simultaneously. Plus, we get all the information in the distilled form of episodes, while for him it was spread out through scripts, re-shoots, etc. It's not reasonable to expect him to know all of this (and he seems to know most of it). Plus, a lot of 24 lore was written for the sake of backstory and wasn't featured in episodes, for instance Jack Bauer's college degrees.

Chase deserved way more episodes
Audrey was there for a few seasons but chase was only there for one season if I remember correctly. They should have asked him about Curtis, he was there for a few seasons

24 lasted for nearly a decade. It's harder than you think to remember precise details from an experience like that when you're so immersed on a day-to-day basis. Do you remember every single detail from grade school? No, but you attended every single day.
They should have asked how many times Jack went to the bathroom, or when was the last time he had something to eat.

He's ate or drank in multiple episodes. In the pilot episode, he had Jell-O, in the season 1 episode after saving his wife and daughter (around episode 14) he had a TV dinner in interrogation, in the first episode of season 5, he had breakfast (pancakes I think) and orange juice.

1:48 Kiefer had the right idea with his answer, but it was the wrong season. The stuff he was talking about happened in Season 2. Jack was planning on crashing a plane with a nuclear warhead on it in a safe area. But a dying George Mason (the head of CTU at the time) convinced Jack to let him do it, so Jack parachuted out of the plane before Mason crashed it.
2:40 I would NOT expect Kiefer to know what degrees Bauer had. That kind of stuff was only in supplementary material, like the novels and fact books. I can give him a pass for that. The only thing I would expect Kiefer to know from Jack's background was that he was in special forces.

As a fan of 24, this tested my knowledge
don't bash on Kiefer for not remembering. it's like working for a trucking company and trying to remember all the names and the bullshit imaginary cb handles. I seen some actors on set work and it appeared stressful as hell. for the quality of their work to be great they have to really block out days of bullshit that appear to us as a few minutes of time.
His job is to do a really good acting, following the script. I can imagine thats stressfull enough and he really doesnt need to have a reason to remember everything or know everything about the serie he acts in
the actors over many seasons, never know as much as the spectators...i've seen it with many series...
we love this and know so much because of him...just too cool..geeking out with 24..so we answer the questions

Tony didn't appear in Season 6. Kiefer was thinking of the plane in season 2, not 4. I didn't know anything about Jack's degrees, though.
Carlos Bernard was on the set many times when S6 was filmed, just because he liked to visit the guys. Kiefer must remember him as "present" in all those seasons.
I've been watching loads of 24 recently and could answer all of these questions except for the last one!
When they asked the question about who he was in a relationship with in season 5, I was thinking of the woman that he was seeing at the very beginning, I think her name was Diane Huxley, correct me if I'm wrong.

I think he did pretty damn well all things considered. The last question is from supplementary material so a bit of a BS question for him. Most of the others he got right. Gosh, how I loved 24.

Actually Kiefer was kinda right on the second question. If you can remember, someone (Tony for sure) was meant to show up at the end of Season 6 in a car, but the script got leaked so the writers changed the ending of Jack looking over an ocean.
That's why Kiefer said he would argue it. That's my guess anyway.

Sorry, dunno what I'm supposed to deduct from that link. It doesn't seem to say anything about the stealth fighter being shot down. (ETA: Oh, I see the misunderstanding now. Of course AFOne got shot down. I'm just not sure about the stealth fighter.)
Joe Twenty Gotcha. Well, Anderson didn't die in the attempt, I'm fairly sure, but no one's sure how long he lasted after that.
I think it's quite safe to assume that, if they couldn't pinpoint the stealth fighters' location beforehand (although they knew the target beforehand), they won't be able to target/pinpoint it afterwards. They might very well be able to capture Anderson, but that's beyond the point. (ETA: Again, a stupid misconception of mine. Sorry. Firing the missile(s), in itself, might, of course, compromise Anderson's position.)
sorta, Jack, Tony and Agent Pierce were all originally supposed to be in the first 7 seasons. Tony was supposed to appear in the back of a car in a season finale, but they decided to leave that out for whatever reason, but it might be a deleted scene on the DVD. Which is why he could kinda argue that Tony showed up in every season, but based on the program aired, he'd still be wrong.

xGEAR73x No, he was suppose to be dead for half of season 5 and all of season 6. He didn't show up again until the first episode of season 7. Apparently Carlos Bernard liked to visit the set even after his character was 'killed', so I can see why Kiefer may have gotten confused.

I honestly don't really like games like these. I know it's just for fun, but I think its obvious most actors wouldn't know answers to these types of questions. Especially for a show like 24, where the cast is changing every season and characters are constantly brought in and killed off. And its important to remember Jack and Agent Pierce rarely ever shared screentime, and Pierce only had a tiny role in seasons 3 and 4, only being in a couple episodes. So it'd be easy to forget he's been in every season. And was never part of the main cast.
Air force one was NOT stolen, it was just shot down. The jet that shot down air force one, that was stolen and possibly shot down, they mentioned something like it after Air Force One went down.

The question at 1:31 was wrong in itself. Air Force One was shot down, but never stolen. The fighter jet that shot it down was stolen.
In fact, Air Force One was never shot down.
The stolen aircraft shot the escorts jets and the debris hit Air Force One causing it to eventually crash.

I think the Tony reason was because initally there plan to end season 6 was with Tony showing up. I think that would have been cool but they stil did it well in season 7. Anyways, Kiefer was pretty good and do you really think that he will remember everything about the show? I mean he said he doesn't watch it and I think it is pretty impressive that he remembered the real actors names. Aaron Pierce was a tough one and he even remembered the scene in season 2. Anyways Kiefer is badass.
