Then they say she remembered being pulled to the ground as she saw Lori’s body thrown into the air. Again, it does not say her friend pulled her to the ground, it just says she was walking ahead of her, it doesn’t even say she was directly ahead of her. If either were absolutely true, they most likely would have clearly stated it. It would create enough guilt, just knowing that you avoided the same fate as your friend, as knowing they had saved you. It even has a diagnosis, it’s called survivors guilt.

We had a system that she would blink her eyes 2 x's when she would chose between 2 outfit choices I would hold up 1 at a time & the same system for what channel she wanted to watch on T.V.
She loved the Young & the Restless.
After several years since working there, members from my church choir went to sing at Christmas & Sarah smiled after & told me Merry Christmas.

If he's in jail too long he could lose his job, his family could go hungry. Hopefully he's aware of what he's done, feels guilty about it and won't do it again. My friend was drinking and driving and got into an accident killing 4 people. She had to pay a fine but avoided jail time because she was only 19. It's been 3 years and she doesnt drink, doesn't even go out any more. Honestly, why do you people it's humane to let someone get to this point? Pull the god damn plug next time. I can't even imagine how much resources it would require to keep someone like that alive for 20 years. What a waste.
Also, if anyone's thinking of responding with "what if it happened to you", I would way rather be dead than be brought back as braindead vegetable who can barely move and needs constant care. I also think that would be unfair to my parents to throw that burden on them.

Everyone listen: When someone is in a coma, do NOT pretend like they are not aware of what is going on around them. Read to them everyday. Tell them what is going on in the world, What the DATE is , the year, who the president is. They can still hear you. Tell them about the local and global news. The changes to the family. Who is moving, getting married, having babies, who dies, who changes jobs, graduates, everything. Celebrate their birthday and holidays. I've heard of cases where people do this and when the patient comes out of the coma they are not shocked at the passage of time, they KNOW what is going on because they were listening the entire time.
Just because they are not moving or speaking does not mean they are not still IN THERE.

I heard everything that went on in my room, I went to “sleep” at night and experienced normal circadian rhythms, I even dreamed while in the coma. Had it not been for my mother tellling me everyday to get out of the bed so I could come home, I don’t know if I would have made it. I had no idea I was in a coma when I was in a coma, but the “normalcy” my mother tried to create sustained me. Learning to walk and talk again after was easier because of her. Shout out to mamas

I was in an induced coma for weeks and while in the coma I had a job and bought a car and basically carried out normal day to day activities. I'm not sure when I realized it but at one moment in the coma I figured out that this couldn't be real because everything thing was hazy and dreamlike. I even considered that I was dead and this was the afterlife. When I finally awoke I was in the hospital and my left leg had amputated due to me being electrocuted. The fact that I had one leg did not bother me one bit. I was just so happy to be alive. What's interesting is that I would watch certain movies and TV shows and be like so that's where that came from while I was in my coma. I realized that the tv being on while I was in the coma actually affected what I was going through in the "coma world". I could go more into detail but I just wanted to share that experience with anyone that was interested enough to read my comment.
