People in theese comments be like ”can’t you read”, bungie themself tweeted ”We are investigating an issue where acquiring a New Light Kit will override players' currently saved loadout of the corresponding subclass”. So can’t you read?
"New Light Kits", "Campaign-Ready gear", "Recommended for new players", "Choosing a new light kit will change your currently equipped items and subclass".
It changed all 4 solar loadouts. That’s the issue. Bungie just tweeted about it and are trying to figure out the problem.

I had this obviously happen to me as well.
But for cases like this, when the ingame loadouts stop working, like they die before, I still have them saved in DIM.

I have yet to use Dim like that. My friend keeps telling me to use it to save my load outs. After this, I may have to look into it. ...and Thanks

0:45 it says "Choosing a New Light Kit will change your currently equipped items and subclass" this means its a premade loadout for new players that just got into the game. this is so that they dont have to spend hours trying to make a good build. This system is supposed to change the current loadout that you have. This is not for Veteran players
I understand that, but it changed all my solar loadouts. That’s the issue. It didn’t just change the one build.
@@vagrantpistol That does sound weird but its also the player's fault if they don't use dim to make a separate copy of all their current builds.
Plus I don't think veteran players will even touch this mechanic.
The real bug here is how the new light kit shows up for vet players and not just for new light players.
@@yousofmwiiu86 I don't get it either. I was just excited because it looked like something new to me. I should have been more carful, but thats what happens when new content drops. Even though I saw the stream and read the TWID, I still made this rookie mistake.
It’s not supposed to change your load outs, bungie tweeted ”We are investigating an issue where acquiring a New Light Kit will override players' currently saved loadout of the corresponding subclass”. And the warning only mentions ”currently equiped” and not every loadout using that subclass
How can this be a bug the warning is visible in your video
it resets your loadouts as well

@@bomberdoge That is not true. I received it yesterday the moment the update was playable and it did not reset my loadouts.
@@dankay3078 you prob got lucky. Bungie gave an official statement saying that there is a bug causinng aspects to reset on loadouts using the subclass you chose

It was a glitch. So they fixed it. Unless you are a new player, you will not get to this point. Also, there are some things in the game you have to do before it opens up.
You do realize that its for new players to the game to get into build crafting after you skip the intro so you can experience a basic build and understand how it works? Of course its going to reset your current build this isnt for veteran players lol you only needed to go to ikora for dialogue
I realized that after. It did showered, reset all my solar loadouts.

It changed all my loadouts that have Solar. That’s the bug.
