now just you need to download the rom " system " there's many website that they have many roms just chose the right one for ex / xpirea z3 dule or 1 sim so if you have the dule just download for the dule and after that flash it form your computer with flash tool

Guys, maybe it's not good place for my question, but I can't find anything about my problem except "this is not possible". I know it should be possible..
Shortly: I bought experia z3 compact from one of the shops. The guy told me that phone is unlocked for all networks. I bought nano sim from Lebara and tried to type pin for sim card instead of bloody network code. I had more than 5 tries which I used. Now my smartphone is hard locked (I found instruction how to check, so I'm sure). I've been looking on the Web over one week, but no results... Don't know what to do now. My phone is working only for o2 network which doesn't make me happy... Do you know where I could get this repaired or how to do it? I will be very appreciated for any answer. Thx

@Gorilla Gaming XZ3 I'm not too sure about that, but first thing would be unlocking the bootloader so you can flash unsigned images (you'll either find a way to boot TWRP and flash Magisk, or you can find a stock boot.img/elf for the XZ3 (which should be easy from XperiFirm/FlashTool) and use Magisk Manager to patch that to install Magisk onto the ramdisk to root.

Open CMD here from the shift + right click menu has been replaced by Powershell. I would probably take a look on XDA for a newer/maintained guide.

Try another USB port and cable. If that doesn't work, try a different computer or try reinstalling the drivers for fastboot again.

You can only unlock the bootloader using fastboot. Have you checked that you can actually unlock the bootloader with the steps in the beginning?

recovery file is not working..flashed it and ran into a bricked mode..recovered it with the help of flashtool..

When you're in the bootloader, you should be able to see a blue LED from what I can remember.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I sorted it, I originally unlocked bootloader with my OSX VM, I guess the usb signal was not properly processed and thus it did not complete. I installed fast boot driver after sever hours and tries again with Windows & it worked, thanks.

I can flash them more times when i press power button and volume buttons to turn down phone and volume down and plug USB in. Could you help me?

I think only display don't work. Because after few minutes phone start to making singals like message is coming.
Oh that's strange that you seem to be able to boot up, but without a display. But if you had a Z3 compact and flashed a Z3 kernel, I don't think you could or should have booted up fully.
You'll need to get back into download mode, and use FlashTool (FTF) and flash just the kernel if you need to keep data.

You should be able to reboot, otherwise, you may have to restore the stock boot partition from a FTF using flashtool. Or flash an appropriate kernel (with built in TWRP) to the boot partition.

yeah, did the kernel you downloaded probably isn't close enough to your current firmware version. Look for one that is newer or as close as possible to yours: 23.5.a.0.291

Hey, just clicked on install super SU and my phone is turning on in off in a loop with a purple . How do i sort it out?
Is this where you go to press reboot and you tap or swipe to install SuperSU before rebooting? That might have issues with newer firmwares I think. I would try wiping cache in TWRP (so boot back into recovery from that purple light) and then downloading and flashing the SuperSU.zip from the link in the more info. :)

i think you can lose your DRM kies witch makes you able to relock your bootloader again ( if you didn't buckup them before unlocking)
Yes you do, and you can't backup your keys unless you're rooted before unlocking the bootloader. But last time I saw, you can apply a patch whilst having an unlocked bootloader to restore the DRM keys.
IIRC, relocking the bootloader wouldn't restore keys.

Hi Jake. Snce you mention 'soft brick' I have a few suggestions to you which should help you out.
METHOD 1
When the bootloop starts - press and hold [POWER] + [VOL DOWN] until your device vibrates THREE times. (approximately 'press and hold' for 5 sec to achieve). First it will vibrate once and start another loop, keep holding and it will vibrate 3 times..
METHOD 2 (NOT UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER)
Repair the device by downloading Xperia Companion made by Sony. Download, connect USB cable. Follow the guide and when prompted press volume button down. It is the same idea as putting the device in fastboot mode, but with pressing and holding 'vol down' instead of 'vol up'. OBSERVE!!! - Device will be cleaned out from all data, so be aware!!!
METHOD 3 (UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER)
Flash the stock rom or a custom rom. (warranty still voided)

Hey there guys, kinda need of dire help.. What I'm trying to achieve is root my Z3 and install android N (Sony Dev Preview). I managed to install Android N, after bricking my phone yest, but without SU access. Today i installed TWRP using flash boot and now the phone is stuck in boot loop...:/
Jacob Anugrah If it was just a pure TWRP recovery image and you flashed it to the boot partition, you will always boot into TWRP no matter what.
You want to find a kernel with TWRP integrated into it so you can boot and have the option to boot into TWRP.
Flash back the stock boot image for the Android N dev preview and see if you can either: fastboot boot "twrp image", or fastboot flash fota "twrp image", but the latter, I've hear works mostly on non-sony based ROMs.

You'll need to have a look on XDA or something similar for a kernel for that version (that has TWRP built in as well).

hey man i followed the steps with my z2 ofc and i unlocked the bootloader everything fine now i flashed the twrp img siruis for my z2 on my phone and it doesent start anymore like wtf when i push the volume button down it shows the sony logo and then it stays of idk what 2 do now
Was it just the TWRP image? I thought we needed a custom kernel that had TWRP integrated into it. Grab the right kernel for your firmware version that has TWRP built into it or flash the boot partition from a FTF.

The kernel you would flash it to the boot partition. As for the FTF, its a factory/stock image so you can flash just the boot partition from that and your phone should boot up again.

Did you flash a recovery image to the boot partition? That will always boot you to the recovery. You need to find a kernel with TWRP build in, so you can boot into it by holding power down when the LED turns purple or orange.
