When this song came out in 91/92 when I was 12 years old, it made me realise that dance music and DJing is a hobby that I want to pursue. 30 years later and I'm still spinning tunes and always try to work in a 2 Unlimited track where I can :)
You're definitely not the only one. If you watch LA Lakers games the music guy still sometimes plays the intro beats from Workaholic when they're bringing the ball up court, or mixes a part of Twilight Zone with a part Mortal Kombat theme together during a time out.

electronic music... we used to call it "dance" or "eurodance" because most of the groups were europeans... and people used to dance similar to what today is called shuffle
the term rap it was also used during some time, because there were many dance groups adapting hiphop steps into it
But funny thing about „Euro“dance - most of the rappers and singers were black (so actually not European originally).. xD
