Hello, I have an acer a315-34 and when researching I found that the ram memory slot is only supportable with another 4gb memory in addition to the soldered one, in the video do you use an 8gb memory just to exemplify or does this machine really support another 8gb ram memory?

Check to make sure that it's a m.2 sata ssd and not an m.2 nvme ssd. Perhaps only the m.2 sata ssd is compatible. Another way to check - m.2 sata has 2 pins on the Golden plating and m.2 nvme has 1 on the right hand side only. Some manufacturers confuse the names, but this theory is certain.

i have also added additionak ssd... i have this same laptop..this laptop takes Nvme ssd ..( not m.2 ssd) try installing nvme ssd..it works...enjoy man..😍

you wouldnt be unsoldering the cpu.. it would atleast require a heatgun or a BGA rework station
