AI Gui rejects Jinki's proposal and starts to make moves beyond their expectations. If they have taken the wrong path, they must correct it. Jinki challenges Gui to a duel as his foster parent, carrying the deck used by his older brother, Shingi, the inventor.

I think Michiru's coma was the turning point for Jinki when he started to realize that this isn't the world his brother wanted and the more GUI took control the worst it was.
I was like "You see this Jinki?? YOU CREATED THIS, now even Michiru is in coma because of you like what the fuck man"
The fight choreography is so good. Gui stacking the 3 cards on top deck. Viewer may expect double trigger incoming, yet Gui check no trigger. But the truth that is Gui place the last card as heal trigger for defensive is amazing

This episode was everything I wanted and more, GUI became as scary as we thought they would be, the new griphogilia, and the acceptance of asking for help makes this so impactful for me

The new Alden and grade 11 Griphogila Vartex are too cool! I also felt bad for Jinki, when he explained the situation to the Uniformers team he was literally ignored and left alone.
Jinki : "Cool I will defeat him before he uses the OT !"
GUI : "Haha, pranked"
We waited two weeks for this episode... and let me tell you, the writers went up to (grade) 11 and beyond on this episode and I can't wait to see Tohya and Bastion kicking Masanori and Zorga Masques' asses for all that's worth next episode.
Finally, we have been teased of their match all the way since Season 2 of Overdress
Man this episode ended up being way better than I was expecting! What a way to kick back into Season 3's second half after a 2 week hiatus! Now the moment so many have been waiting for.... Bastion Accord next week!! The sword of the people is here to liberate all!!!
First of all can we all give a big round of applause to Daiki Yamashita's performance holy moly the man brought his A game today. Ayo Alden has been Bastion's main guy for so long he went on his own. Not prettiest of starts considering he and a planet got blown away by Gyze's favourite plant lol, but he did chop of some heads so that's good.

I have this feeling that gui was the one responsible for the brothers death by the look on jinki’s face, also it seems gui and he don’t share the same ideals epic battle the grade 11 shook the world and obliterated it can’t wait for next week

Griphogila blasting the planet that it's rooted to and destroying the planet along with itself feels like foreshadowing and also... kind of interesting. It feels self-destructive and literally cutting off your own roots (the vanguard styles and the players' individuality), but would ultimately just kill themselves off in such a silly and short-sighted act of hubris. If all fighters cannot beat Gui and they becomes the strongest, there would be no way higher the game can go. People would just drop the game, because there is just no winning unless you follow the meta (Uniformers) and then it's just repetitive. It would literally kill the game as nobody would play. As such, Griphogia literally shooting itself in the foot.

I do appreciate they did another knock at "metagaming to win" like they did in G. The fact the lesson instead of the fun being sucked out killing Vanguard, it's the fact everyone would be the same and you are rejected if you don't follow meta killing the game. Granted players need to hear it considering it's part of the reason the game growth is slow here.

It’s obvious that both GUI and Jinki have the same goals in mind but how their ideologies are right now seems to vastly differ yet I really love how this episode made Jinki question the ideology of his brother.
I knew Jinki was going to lose but my goodness… Grade 11 being rideable from GUI was something I was NOT expecting like… holy crap and even the ending was so surprising for the Blackout members to see even Jinki asking for help to surpass GUI which is the timing couldn’t be better considering GUI’s ideals are really starting to get out of hand.
I always loved Jinki’s character but this episode was one of the most surprising from start to finish and I really felt bad for him, the remaining episodes are going to be very interesting and fascinating moving forward in terms of context and subject material, beautiful episode!!! 😮💕

Didn't expect that jinki and blackout are now in truce except for other uniformers, but it seems that the uniformer members have betray jinki
I think Masanori is going keep being a villain henchman from the shadows for a few more seasons before revealing he's actually the big bad of the entire series.
If you notice, Zorga is the only Masque card that doesn't wear the Masque, he holds it as if toying with it. Same personality as Masanori.
Zorga/Masanori is definitely the real big bad evil guy.
@@vanguardRailgun924 Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the pattern. He's always behind corrupting what ever goal the current "villain" is doing.
I feel like Masanori is that joker/trickster character. He is both malicious yet surprisingly friendly, dangerous yet kind. Tohya recognizes he stuck with him, but it was also to stoke the flames of his ambition and watch him burn out, then find help. Every action he does is so self-aware and cruel, yet seems to also lead towards characters growing, getting stronger and finding acceptance. I feel like out of everyone, Masanori loves Vanguard more than anyone else and is possibly getting his hands dirty to push events along for everyone to get strong. It's chaotic, but also for good intentions(?). He's like a chaotic monk, bringing people enlightenment, but only through suffering, existentialism and challenges before rebirth and growing.
But who knows? I could be wrong. Maybe hes just bad. But a villain who does bad things for the sake of the overall good of everyone would be SUPER interesting.
"And here I thought that Grade 5 was the peak grade that I'll ever see in Vanguard guess I was totally wrong."

Okay at least Jinki realizes what Shingi actaully wants to accomplish with his project, and can see what how flawed Gui's intentions actually are, too bad his associates don't see it. Masanori, what the heck do you expect him to understand at this point he just wants chaos cause it's fun. Sophie, she doesn't give a heck about your ideals (I can't wait for Raika to destroy her a second time). Halona, she sees Gui as her BFF of course she brushes it off as Jinki misunderstanding Gui's intentions.
Gui is an AI and nothing more he's always gonna think more objectively which in itself is his greatest strength and also his greatest flaw, he's willing to accomplish his mission by any means possible, even at the expense of people's free will, which is again messed up, the project was never finished which is probably why this is happening.
Oh yeah the cardfight, I was so surprised when I saw the new Alden because I did not expect him to have his own playstyle since you would always see him only in Bastion decks, I was also surprised when Griphogilla got a new form, and now it can trigger the overtrigger bomb much faster and it's grade 11 (I'm not gonna be surprised if we get a card with a grade higher than that in the future) and because of that of course Jinki gets obliterated.
I'm kinda glad that Yuyu wasn't as mad as I was expecting when Jinki went to Wonder Hill, I guess he gets the situation and understands that Gui is the enemy and not Jinki, who just wants to fulfill his brother's mission.
Next is Tohya VS Masanori, in which Tohya is definitely winning this, don't know if this means that Masanori will bounce after that, and will just find another means to cause chaos, if so stop your crazy friend Tohya.

In next year vanguard will be on the good spot of 2024 and I hope that bushiroad will also fix vanguard main issue which is secondary market and overpriced promo cards

Waiting that extra week was worth it. Also, everyone is talking about the evolved Gryphogila, but honestly I am alot more interested in the new Alden. I really liked the design of the cards and the deck.
I agree. I never like the other Keter sanctuary play style but alden reminds the old Royal Paladin play style. (No lord blaster doesn’t count)

Basically this episode is gonna be a warni.. I mean, a cautionary tale of what happens if an A.I went sentient and run rampant. Also I thought this is gonna be a Griphogila mirror match (which in hindsight is a bad idea cause it'll take a loooooong time finish lol) but no Jinki's gonna use his brother's deck. Very keen to see what it is.

I feel like the ultimate flaw of uniformer plan is that when everyone becomes his copy and plays like him it doesn't change the fact that everyone will still lose to him. I mean I can understand playing to deck more correctly and making less mistakes but there still has to be a winner and a loser and I have yet to see someone tie in a vanguard game honestly I don't think its possible. Basically I don't think their goal is wrong but everyone can't be a winner there still gonna be losers and when they realize they can't win all the time or never defeat the strongest of the uniformers they'll probably quit playing. Thats my view on it.
Yah I really think this episosw brought Gui down as a villain as before he was more interest with his goal being on the nobler side here it becomes I want to control everything

That Grade 11 is insane! Gui is probably the best and powerful antagonist in the Vanguard series. He's like a Vanguard version of Kyoya Gaen from Future Card Buddyfight

Alden got promoted to VG Status. Pretty cool. Bummed it's not completely compatible with the previous ver. Would've been cool to play both versions in a deck
I like that Jinki has doubts about Gui, but I think that It should have been raised better in previous chapters
Well I think the first sign of it was when Michiru fell into the coma in the finale. Then the S3 Premiere it seemed like he was back to his usual, frenetic self but maybe there was a sense that he was just putting on the persona. He 'did' say in his words that he's come too far at this point.
But yea I agree. Excellent story and I like Jinki actually showing doubts, but the actual confrontation / trying to directly stop him was a tinge rushed. ~ Ry
This my problem with this season, all is happening too fast.
I think it's the problem with every season being 12-13 episodes. Remember in the old days we went hard with 50-60 episode seasons? I mean there were problems there too-- padding & fluff, fights that took a bit too long to finish.
But I think adding even 3-4 more episodes would be a god send to their approach with will+dress. Because I think willdress has been this series' strongest seasons, they need to iron out some of the pacing issue. Cause even in Season 3 we missed several fights that would have been awesome to watch. Like Mirei vs Raika, Megumi vs Tohya.@@reyajudante4408

This, was not what I expected and in a good way. First of all, love seeing how a Knight who was once a support unit now became a main ride line love that. But holy crap this was just insane, Masanori is just plain psycho and the rest of team uniformers is just GUI followers not really caring about what Jinki thinks on the matter despite him being the brother of the CREATOR. I don't even know how to describe this, it's cool that's all I can say

It'll be Michiru's Body. Since it's in a Coma, the mind is lost, perfect for inhabiting. It just made sense for GUI to borrow Jinki
that is also a cool theory and is interesting and I can kind of see that too. Because Gui did enjoy Michiru the most and Michiru did technically get lost in cyber space while Michiru's own body is out of commission atm... @@SuperSayianWarrior

To be fair, the Drive Checks were due to the Keter OT, not due to Vartex itself(if it have drive checks itself, then Dragon Empire Gripho just because a lot more scary with Triple Drive on Esperidia)

Already expected a crazy upgrade for Griphogila when Bushi has been revealing cards that gain more advantage when enemy vg grade is higher.
Because everyone was fangasming about new Bastion they didn't even notice.
Vartex or the set order might have a skill that gives bonus benefits having more than 1 dragontree marker but it wasn't shown cause jinki got overkilled
Vortex animation is the most overkill to 6th damage.

Ngl the grade 11 is a little bit too overpowered , it’s kinda sad to see that tho I fell like it isn’t a fair fight. An overtrigger, stand all units , and even rear guard get drive checks it’s a bit too much . Hope to see yuyu able to counter this attack in the near future
the drive checks came from the Overtrigger, not from the grade 11 alone, although the restand was originally from the grade 10, but the grade 11 is threatening because it changes the deck to a turn 5 Overtrigger turn. We won't know the full details until Monday night/Tuesday morning.

New Griphogila is broken, it skill can let you take 1 damage to fast the time of Over Trigger active turn, also i wonder is Masanori is Mastermind behind everything happen in Overdress ?
Edit: ok, i am sorry, the skill let you fast the time of Over Trigger active turn is from Set Order Token that need discard 1 Griphogrila unit but new Griphogrila still broken because it skill active Set Order Token directly after ridden, gain 10000 Power and 1 Critical without have 3 Dragontree Marker like original and gain another 10000 Power on your and opponent turn if total number of Hydragrum unit on your RC is 10 or greater.
It’s not the grade 11 that makes it turn faster it’s the grade 11 set order that he play on the turn made it a turn faster
@@nhatphinguyen7785 the set order is grade 11 so you need to ride up to the new grade 11 to use it because you can only use an order with the same grade or lower as a Vanguard

I think Masanori is more like Chaos Breaker from the G series
@nhatphinguyen7785 It also gains 10k power and 1 crit on its user's turn, making it equal to its base version with three dragontree markers in play during your turns.
Edit: While it's weaker in terms of offense than its base version, it's better defensively given the higher base power.

@@wesleyleal3154 because there is no RRR slot remaining for it. We already have Avant Richter and Berjina as RRRs and the third one is going to be a cycle card (like the Keter card that triggers on-stride)
