I love, love and love this channel and this sweet girl but I hate the fact how everyone is just praising she is living in heaven. Its not heaven, she made it heaven for herself. This is so much hard work. Everything thing she picks up from her garden, every grain she collects, every flower she plucks and everything she plants according to season needs a hell of work. And she even documents every work which is way more lethargic. I think she is working so hard for everything though it is paying her well too but not everyone is praising her for the hard work she puts in which is unfair. Nothing comes naturally. Even the nature needs order. Nature is everywhere with all its pros and cons but she is working hard to keep it in its best .. please don't overlook her tons and tons of hard work..
Add the people who chirp that it must be fake, that she has a whole team doing the real work. Such people have never had to do manual labour to eat, so they assume no one can. Yet a large proportion of the world population has to work that hard for basic subsistence.

The lump in my throat takes me when I saw those cherries. I feel peaceful and grateful most of the time when I watch Ziqi's videos as if I were with my grandma again when I was a little girl. I was born in Sichuan and raised by my grandma (waipo) until 6 years old ( my parents wanted a boy and intended to give me away. My grandma insisted to keep me but she had to hide my identity). Those scenes in Ziqi's videos are so familiar to me. I'd always visit my grandma in the countryside during school holidays. My mother pushed me to study hard and kept reminding me that I'm unwanted, I am a burden and useless if I could not be admitted to a top university. I made it but I felt so scared and helpless when I lived with my parents. I'd usually be in school at my parents' place when the cherry ripened. So, my grandma would make cherry jam and keep them exclusively for me until I visited her... My grandma was the only person who loves me unconditionally. She passed away while I was a master student. My dad always wanted to have a boy, but my mom gave birth to 2 girls. He divorced with my mom and married another woman, but they still had a girl... But i won't complain. Because in the past generation girls like only my mom(whose family don't have a boy) would send girls to get education. And my father and mother love me a lot despite they are told to have a boy. I grew up on a hobby farm, similar to hers except way less awesome, and one of my main hobbies was finding snakes and handling them if they didn't mind it too much. And bringing them back to where I found them. Canadian snakes mind you, no danger except rattlesnakes. My dad had a vineyard, and we would save snakes that got caught in the netting :(. Along with other hobby stuff like organic bee farm in our forest. I would always try to save drowning bee's in our pool. Not necessarily evil. Most people can't tell which snakes are venomous do for safety reasons they will kill the snakes they find. It's a way to protect your pets and animals. There is no evil in nature actually, unless it's being torture before getting killed.

To me, she depicts a typical Chinese life. I grew up from a very poor family. We never waste food, we maximized the use of every part of the plant, and our diet consist of mostly veggies.

You know what the sad thing here over in america is? Is that veggies (atleast where I live) are the most expensive things, if you want something healthy you've gotta pay a nice penny. I understand the work that goes into producing that. But the more fattier things like alot of carbs is so cheap. And in alot of places like let's say trailer parks they wont let you grow your own garden!!! Its saddening really, and people suffer because of that.

However, to bring a bit more uplifting news, there are places in the western countries where community gardens are taking place. A number of ppl are growing their own victory gardens. Whether they’re making a rich food forest in their backyard, or utilizing their apartment balconies in the cities. It is picking up a bit, and a bit more ppl are advocating and encouraging others to grow their own food. I know a few ppl who already do that, and some more who want to do that once they find their own place. From garden, to kitchen, to table-it’s pretty luxurious when you think about it, even if you are the one maintaining that food garden. Even if we’re just growing some leafy greens or a fruit tree, it’s better than nothing. 😁

I love how much patients Liziqi has to make a vidoes and to care for her grandmother, care for the farm that she has. It’s just amazing and inspiring to make you want to change the way you lay in bed all day to finding something to do at home. I grew up on a hobby farm, similar to hers except way less awesome, and one of my main hobbies was finding snakes and handling them if they didn't mind it too much. And bringing them back to where I found them. Canadian snakes mind you, no danger except rattlesnakes. My dad had a vineyard, and we would save snakes that got caught in the netting :(. Along with other hobby stuff like organic bee farm in our forest. I would always try to save drowning bee's in our pool.

To me, she depicts a typical Chinese life. I grew up from a very poor family. We never waste food, we maximized the use of every part of the plant, and our diet consist of mostly veggies.

You know what the sad thing here over in america is? Is that veggies (atleast where I live) are the most expensive things, if you want something healthy you've gotta pay a nice penny. I understand the work that goes into producing that. But the more fattier things like alot of carbs is so cheap. And in alot of places like let's say trailer parks they wont let you grow your own garden!!! Its saddening really, and people suffer because of that.

A number of ppl are growing their own victory gardens. Whether they’re making a rich food forest in their backyard, or utilizing their apartment balconies in the cities. It is picking up a bit, and a bit more ppl are advocating and encouraging others to grow their own food. I know a few ppl who already do that, and some more who want to do that once they find their own place.
From garden, to kitchen, to table-it’s pretty luxurious when you think about it, even if you are the one maintaining that food garden. Even if we’re just growing some leafy greens or a fruit tree, it’s better than nothing. 😁
Me too,and I come from the same area with her, a small town in SIchuan. Her videos make me remind of my childhood, the mountain, the farm, the lanscapes,and the lifestyle, all of these are so close to my memories.

I think she is an amazing young lady. She should be so proud of herself. There is dedication to what she does everyday. She takes care of her Grandmother on top of what she does. Her cooking looks so good. What she uses to make bread, candy, and canning ect. I would never have thought of those things and incorporate them together. I mean starch from the potatoes to make a bread. I really am in awe of her. I am 54 and have not even done half of what she does in a day. She does this 365 days a year. Wow.

I really wished I had done it for my grandparents who took care of me and my siblings especially when we hardly had any food to eat. Unfortunately, they passed away before I could find a stable job.
