I like collaborations that bring something different and cool to the table. For example the munroe/marfione sigil had a spring loaded pocket clip that you pushed to put in your pocket. The next version they made a larger sigil (a bit bigger than the custom) so the knife itself felt totally different. I don’t like the idea of just copying and pasting the same model but made by someone else.
Sometimes collaborations turn out to be something amazing for example the collaboration between keanison knives and sparrow knife co the bird dog collab was pretty awesome
The milling is fantastic. I agree. That Shirogorov with the red carbon is VERY nice too. I'd choose it over this knife. Colabs are usually either a great fit or they look hokey. Hit and miss for sure.
Collabs work if there is a true synergy between the parties. Unfortunately what usually happens is one is the Alpha and takes the lead and the other compromises on issues that they may not be comfortable with but want to avoid conflict. There is a huger difference between and cohesive design team and two head strong designers. Thanks for the vid! Cheers!
Maxace is doing the rolling pins now on there big knives. 💪🗡
@@08mustang651 cool.

Thinking waaaayyyy back I believe ADV was the first to use roller/thrust bearings when he first introduced the butcher. Could be mistaken though

I think they usually equate to an amazing knife
Not a problem because I didnt buy it, coin that phrase, there are some unique features on it that are not the norm that are cool
