I’d love to play my local courses like Tustin ranch, birch hills, riverview and other in Orange County, CA. Def keeping my eyes and ears open for this.
Same. If it’s what they say it is and what I’ve seen so far then could be a real game changer. I think the detail and accuracy of the courses is what will be important but it looks solid from what I could see.
As long as the data is accurate the new software would be more than welcome but on the one example shot you have shown the data was way off. I could see clearly from the impact vision that it was hit closer to the heel but data shows high toe for some reason and also showing 120 mph club speed for that particular shot which is not possible unless you are Kyle Berkshire with a 7 iron ;)
I am not sure about the data I would have to review it. I have only done some testing on Apogee's current firmware. I know they have been working on dialing it in as much as possible. The nice part is Apex is going to be available to all the various launch monitors that work with E6 now. So if you are maybe a R10 users or UNEEKOR user etc. Everyone will have that connection available. Choose the form of data you prefer :) Thanks for watching!
Hi Guys, E6 would love to see E6 add Cape Wickham and the Dunes King island Australia No 1 ranked course in Australia, and highly ranked in public course world wide. these course are tough if your ball goes in the rough you drop another due to the tiger snakes, i just played them in feb this year and ran into a group of 20 golfers from the USA these are bucket list golf course and should be considered for E6
When can we expect mobile app updates? I know we keep getting dates pushed back for the pc version but march is great news… love the fact course library is being updated to compete with GSPRO. Personally I prefer e6 so I’m very excited… just wondering how well this will translate with mobile. Also very very interested in update with pricing. Hopefully stays the same with GSPRO competition
So APEX will be coming for iOS. It wont be ready at the launch of the PC version but they are working on it. It sounds like Apex will be available to the subscribers of E6 now so expect to have access if you are one now.
@@GolfSimulatorVideosconsidering I just bought the expanded subscription yesterday not knowing about apex , I emailed support and they said it will be included on current subscriptions
@@tehrage115 Correct, I tried to explain this in my first Apex video they just did not have specifics other than current subscribers would have access.
Absolutely love it, go to a golf expo to show off a new software with cutting edge graphics and display it in a booth with a 1080 projector, then stand there as a typical salesman and look confused! #GSPRO
I agree it would have been nice to have a 4k projector for the 4k software, but I can assure you nobody is perfect at a show like this, it's tough to get setup and keep track of it all with hundreds of people a minute. Everyone has done a pretty darn good job overall. I know of tough it is just myself trying to get though a 12 hour day on this floor so I like giving everyone some room for error. Thanks for watching.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Yeah I'm just wondering why people are bringing up GSPRO when complaining about a different software using a 1080 projector in their booth. Fanboys are gonna do their thing I guess. I am looking forward to more info on this Apex software. You probably have their ear on things, tell them to drop the stupid up front fees and go to a sub model like GSPRO and others do and maybe they'll get more people to buy in. Having all the local courses is going to grab people's interest for sure but if the initial cost is $2500, that's going to be a non starter for a lot of folks. Take care man, you're doing a great job with the videos.
@@jwheels9876 Yeah no idea why, it happens on a lot of subjects where people don't own that hardware/software lol. From my understanding Apex will be subscription based unless a hardware OEM requires a flat fee + subscription. Sounds like if you currently have a e6 subscription then you will be given access to Apex.
An E6 user here contemplating jumping to GSPro for the better realism and much cheaper subscriptions, but holding off to see how the Apex software looks. On the handful of vids I’ve now seen on Apex I will go with Gspro. These graphics looked underwhelming compared to the sneak peeks from last year. The shadows regardless of time of day are way too intrusive and dark. They should have had a midday setting where the shadows are non existent. Unless that’s fixed and the pricing point is in the Gspro level then it’s going to be difficult to stay with E6. The data in this vid and the others was waaaaay off also.
Hopefully I’ll have the updated version soon and will do some more in-depth coverage. Software is very personal preference for sure. Thanks for watching!
It is about a 8" circle. Smaller than I would like to see, but if you have a center tee area like I have in the GSV studio I find it pretty easy to roll into the circle. Maybe they can increase this with some updates in the future I hope. Thanks for watching!
i have to say this software looks amazing!
Thanks for watching
OK, That's crazy having every golf course available on demand. If this comes to fruition I will definitely be buying this software.
I agree this is huge. I need to go through some to really compare detail / accuracy but what they showed my was really impressive. Thanks for watching

Still not sure how they've pulled off this massive, dynamic course library, but I'm intrigued!

I believe they were talking a big game, but really have nothing in the library. Might end up being Phantomware

Wondering if this e6 apex is actually too graphically intense for the average consumers home sim setup.
Not sure about club head speed being higher than ball speed on that first shot.
Yeah this is Alpha software so not sure honestly, I did notice smash factor at 0 as well. So could be a miss or a bug.
Do you know if the new apex software is apogee only or available for other launch monitors? Thanks!
Yes they are working right now to add all the various launch monitors.
Will this be available for Garmin R10?
Yes any of the launch monitors that are currently working in E6 will be added to Apex. They are working on that now. Thanks for watching!

What's GSPRO have to do with any of what you said? Did they have a booth there at the show?
